Celine messed up while singing

I saw that video before, but I just rewatched it, and the camera gets REALLY choppy right there, and it literally bounces back and forth, as if it were cut. I'm not sure if that is 100% real, but I don't see the point in editing like that to make it look like she had a spaz attack. Not sure what to think of it.

 

I don't know, I just thought that it was very funny. But judging by her face I would say it is real. She looks a bit embarrased. To me it just looks like she had a twitch or a shiver or something. It is cute though. Makes you wonder if she ever had to sneeze, or had an itch somewhere in the middle of a song.

so true! She must have had to sneeze before in the middle of a song. I have never seen it, but surely its happened and surely she didnt get through a whole world tour of over a year without having to sneeze while on stage! Itch is different as she could just ignore it!

I think all the songs sounded better in SA at the start of the tour. Her voice didn't sound nasal at all, even during All By Myself. I think cos a lot of the songs were new she sang them with much more energy and passion.

 

Also, she hit the note in Fade Away absolutely amazingly this video from SA - don't forget this is the same note as the ORIGINAL All By Myself high note!

Ugh, that was so good. Her voice even crackles like it used to when she hit the high note in the original ABM

 

Off topic here, but I agree that she sounded so much better at the beginning of the tour. Like what she does here between 0:57 - 1:05 with the "DON'T!"

yeah that's a stupid editing mistake! there are more mistakes @ Live à Paris, cos one night she sang with a mircophone with a cord, the other one it was without a cord!

Oh I just thought she swapped to a cordless mic for Misled during LAP, but I forgot she had it for other songs too.

 

In Brunei used cordless just for Misled, when all the other songs were with a corded mic, the same in Live in Memphis, but for Declaration of Love too. Marc Langis, Terry Bradford and the other background singers all had cordless mics, but Celine had corded for most songs. Why would she use a corded one if they had cordless available? It doesn't make sense just to use it for Misled and Declaration of Love in the FIY tour.

 

Also, in Live in Memphis, did they change the order of the songs? Some times she has the jacket on, then it's off, then it's back on again!!

 

Here's the Wikipedia setlist for North America rearranged to the LIM setlist (red=deleted/not performed, bold= gold jacket off). As you can see by the numbering they swapped the songs round!!

And, in Newark NJ she made a mistake and slipped into her old AND ways during IA and said "security". It obviously doesn't make sense in the tour because she doesn't have fake tourists running after her on stage. I bet it scared the security guards a bit haha.

As far as I know, when they are actually recording (for use on TV, CD, DVD) they like to use corded mics. My understanding is that you get a more stable and quality controlled recording.

Also in that concert during TCTour, the sound system failed at the beginning of IDAN and she had to actually sing the first part and the chorus, no playback, man that was awful, you can really tell the difference between the playback and her voice, and they said it was a microphone problem.

So far I think the one where she is in South Korea was the worse just because she is so good at recovering. The longest 4 minutes of her life! I feel so bad for her. Just the look on her face at the end. I wonder what she was thinking? I would love to know!

That is it. There are a couple of UTube videos out there of her doing that, to some extent.. She's an actress! Now if Maria Callas would of just had that move after "Carmen" (or some other opera song) Celine would be a shoe in for the role! Look up the one in Montreal. She messed up "Le Blues Du Businessman" on the Millennium Concert too. She sounds off-tune at the first few sentences of "Le Blues Du Businessman". maybe cause she had never sung that part of "Le Blues Du Businessman" before. but she sang it fine soon. her performance with Bruno Pelletier was great.

I suppose Celine does have her moments but has anyone else famous singer or actor had there moments in time too,no ones perfect, you even see Celines really amusing and funny side with her expressions and playfulness with the fans and always seems to recover from any problems to which I have always accepted.

I feel it shows how a honest and a respected women Celine is to us all and she never lets us down remembering she is only human just like us all.
