Tal Posted March 13, 2007 at 01:34 PM Posted March 13, 2007 at 01:34 PM AHHHHH KATHY!! I forgot you were going to the concert!! What did you think? It compltely turned me into a Grobanite! Seriously, I was not even excited to seeing the show. But after last night I think I'm officially a Grobanite! He was INCREDIBLE!! He sounded amazing..his voice was SO strong!! And there was that one point he came out to walk through the audience and he came out RIGHT in the entrance by my seat. So he was literally 6 feet away from me. And he was hilarious too! He kept cracking jokes and being silly and...ahhhhhhhh he was just so cute!! He has the trifecta of hotness: 1. Funny2. Humble to the point of self deprication3. HE CAN SANG! I loved when he was introducing Remeber When It Rained and he said how its romantic which he likes because he feels more comfortable being romantic when he sings cause he's not so good at being romantic when he talks (HA! please!). And he said it in this silly little voice! AHHH IT WAS SO CUTE AND IM SERIOUSLY SJF'ing!!! I think my favs of the night were February Song and the opener, You Are Loved. Machine was also amazing. And I have to say, I was not impressed with that song on the CD but live it was 100 times better!! And he played the drums and the piano. And his violinist was SICK...as in AMAZING. That acappella solo that all of a sudden breaks out into Kashmir by Led Zeppelin... And how cool that Ladysmith Black Mambazo came out! It was just SO GOOD!! Tal Posted March 13, 2007 at 02:41 PM Posted March 13, 2007 at 02:41 PM I tried to find it on Youtube, but couldn't. Although I think someone posted the entire Toronto concert in several parts, so it might be in there. I just realized it when I saw this thread To be honest I was excited but not like ECSTATIC! I am now!!! It was INSANE!! He is so amazing. I can`t believe how close you were to him! See now you had the better seats! lol! He is really funny..I love that he`s a big nerd like Celine I think that`s one of the reasons why I love them both --- they`re so down to earth. I had many favorites, but I think for me it was February Song and Homeless and Lullaby with Lady Smith Black Mambazo. I was crying like a baby during those! I grew up listening and loving Lady Smith so it was amazing to see them in person. And Josh was absolutely phenomenal with them. What did you think of that African singer as the opener? I thought she was awsome! I love that kind of music His violinist IS SICK!! I was like wooooow. She`s an incredible musician. It was just an absolutely magical night...I had the best time ever. I just wish I remembered you were there! I would`ve said hello! Oh Well, we live so close to each other, there`ll be other opportunities. Tal Posted March 13, 2007 at 03:44 PM Posted March 13, 2007 at 03:44 PM I know. We should just meet for coffee or something one of these days! Maybe once my office lets me out before 10pm <_< I had to ask to leave 'early' last night to get to the show.....at 6pm, lol. I know, I can't get over how good he was and the whole show was! Cause I wasn't familiar with a lot of his songs. And I like him, but I didnt LOVE him like I love Celine or U2 or anything. But he converted me last night!! I'm going to join the fan club and try for better seats next time! Yeah he is such a nerd, its just so endearing. When he started to sing 'its a wonderful day in the neighborhood', lol! and yeah, singing with Ladysmith was SO cool! yeah i thought the woman who opened was really cool! she had such a powerful voice too...i dont even think she needed that mic! lol! the crowd was a little dull though. awww and when he came out in the Rangers jersey! nature boy Posted March 27, 2007 at 09:07 PM Posted March 27, 2007 at 09:07 PM Has anyone heard the bonus track "Smile"? It's on the internet only edition as I already have the CD+DVD there's no point getting it, would love to hear it though. Quote http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/3239/kylieima5lp9.jpg How do you describe a feeling??
Tal Posted March 27, 2007 at 10:07 PM Posted March 27, 2007 at 10:07 PM Nope. I noticed that that song existed a few days ago. Why do they have to do that? I understand having different editions of a CD, but to have a bonus song online that you can't get on the CD/DVD combo is just dumb imo.
