Thank you to all the forum members for their guidance and support with booking through EventTravel. I feel much better about it today. I also spoke with them and they reassured it’s all fine. The website looks like it was designed 20 years ago - so I got worried. All is well. 
I’d also like to say how sorry I am for the debacle that others are facing. This could have been handled much better - with priority given to longstanding Team Celine members (if we even exist anymore) plus cancelled ticket holders for the Courage World Tour. Dynamic pricing will damage Celine’s image I’m afraid.

Dynamic pricing should be illegal. I thought Biden was trying to get that illegal here in the states a few years back? Hopefully it happens soon.

I thought I would go into 'hacker mode' and find the axs ticket page for tmr in advance. because they all start with "https://www.axs.com/series/", and you'll find that sites number 32272 (https://www.axs.com/series/32272) to 32277 (https://www.axs.com/series/32277) lead to all her presales. And I ran the google search: site:axs.com/series/ ("Céline Dion" OR "Celine Dion") ("Paris La Défense Arena" OR Nanterre OR Paris)

Anyway, nothing. someone there is doing their job 😅 but it was fun lol. and putting this here in case anyone (is likewise sufficiently distracted at work and) wants to go hunting...

Any idea if paying in full gives any advantage in terms of guarantees. I only paid the deposit for now but, provided that I pay the rest before July 18th, it should be fine right?

I was simply too excited when booking that, to be honest, I didn't even notice that I could have made a deposit.

No worries! Apparently, there was even an option to pay in instalments but I didn't notice that one haha. Anyway, I have emailed them to have a written guarantee but I think everything should be fine.

I spent 2x 3h in a queue and got the error both times. Couldn’t take it anymore so went for an Event Travel package. How can they still offer so many tickets while all the presales are either impossible to get into or are already sold out?

Happy I’m going though but this stress cost me a few years of my live. The European summer tours in 2016 and 2017 went so much smoother…

You need to provide the link with the Extension /cdps26; otherwise, you won't be able to access the booking page.

You won't see the link on celinedion.com or eventtravel.com.

Yeah but I think I saw more dates got sold out too. And their prices went up as well today (were 7-800 two days ago but 1000 today). Anyway I’m going Oct 10th. Can’t wait!

The link was in the Ticketmaster-mail though (besides the personal link and code for the presale). But yeah, I guess it wasn’t widely known.

I’ve read reports that there’ll only be a few thousands tickets available on Friday. Cue the headlines “Celine Dion sells out Paris Residency in 20 minutes”. They’ve obviously split hundreds of thousands of tickets into chunks - most being sold off through various pre-sales (using dynamic pricing to gain more money off of the panic and desperation of us die hard fans). The general sale will basically be a mop up of whatever is left - and you can bet your sweet a** they’ll be expensive). The whole thing is a mess. I feel for the fans who can’t just splash out thousands of euros on a whim. I couldn’t. It’s not fair in this current economic climate.

It has been a hell of a week. First the announcement which made us all very happy! How special is it that she will perform again, finally! But than the struggle to get tickets…. I actually did the math on this because I was having the same thought. I'm estimating here, but they originally had 8 spots per hotel x about 8 hotels x 4 categories of tickets x 16 dates = 4096 seats. That's a lot. But it's also what, like 1% of the total tickets? It sounds legit to me that THE major hotel packages partner would have 1% of the tickets set aside ahead of time and earmarked especially for this, AND that, despite the increasing number of us buying these packages, we're not even close to hitting *those* numbers.

In any case, if we get through tomorrow and no cancellation emails have come 😅, I think we should have Event Travel t-shirts with their crappy logo made up for us 😂 I will forever be their loyal customer.

A MASSIVE thanks to cdurand54, as well as to everyone here who has researched and looked into Event Travel over the past few days. And to everyone for being so supportive and helpful to other fans trying to get tickets. I'm crossing my fingers and sending lots of strength and hope to those fighting the general sales battle tomorrow! (🐸🤞) I'm so glad that the room will be filled with the people who love her for her big return 💙
