Let's be real. This general talk about BATB was totally pointless. We get to know more from articles or books... If you come up with a video series Celine (which is really great actually!!!) then give us something of substance! Edited by ryba

I guess the point is that this series is for newer generations / non fans... we already know all of that... it's for people who don't know Celine that much...

It really doesn't make sense, because these videos are posted on her social media ...meaning that you have to follow her. And to follow her, you must know her. wacko.png

 

On top of that, there's no music in the video. So she is talking about a song ...and for people who doesn't know the song, there's 0 appeal.

 

Totally pointless.

 

She is so on a robotic mode with all her stock phrases, that they don't even apply on the current situation.

 

"I want to sing all my life, not have a hit"... while it turned out that she has hits and can't sing all her life.

They are setting up for something with this move on Tik-Tok, I wonder if Celine is indeed capable to go back on stage.

A clever move is to appear more on this platform, wondering if she will release something new, say something new

and I don't mind to get more unrealsed material from Courage, she dressed for this tour amazing (!)

Maybe someone told Celine if she doesn’t start doing the bare minimum then her streams and royalties are gonna diminish forever. SPS considered this is the bare minimum.

I think they just realised that fan engagement on social media is key to be selling records - see Taylor Swift. The general public cannot even name 2 of her songs, yet she is about to outsell everyone in the music industry. Point is the 'album era' as we all knew it is over. The days of needing a radio hit to penetrate audiences across markets to have people go buy your record are over. Thereby, it is good to see Celine using social media more no matter how sloppy the attempt is. biggrin2.gif I think the more they try things out, the better she will become. Edited by LukeD

I don’t think any of us should be complaining if she’s sitting and talking about her music. Period. Shes engaging. It’s a start. Some of you think she’s gonna start by saying “let me tell you about Reveal”. Not gonna happen. Not yet anyway. But the more she explores hopefully the more she will engage. Compare of Dec 2024 and Jan 2025 to this past December and the last week. We’ve already had about 3 new videos. I’ll take it.

I'll be honest, once I saw the quick thumbnail of the video, I knew I wouldn't have to watch it lol.

 

So it kind of highlights how it's good to have books like the one Vito Luprano is coming out with -- although the overall merit of his book, I cannot comment on. But I already did learn things I never knew before in the short interview I heard him do.

Okay wow… Celine’s latest TikTok video has me swallowing my words… if she keeps this up, I’ll be pleasantly proved wrong.. same outfit so hopefully it helps, btw her voice sounds great!

Guys! I’ve noticed something. There’s a new video of Celine talking about the song “Beauty And The Beast”, while watching i was looking at her chest. The scar is gone. Remember her first public appearance last year at the grammys? She was still wearing a bob that time. I remember there was a huge scar at the middle of her chest. Now, it’s gone?

Why does it matter? But to answer your question , looks to me the villas at the Palms Las Vegas. There’s a recording studio directly below… also Celine confirme that little dog from the Grinch video is hers.

She is coming back this year - there is no doubt.

 

Is this the purpose of the TikTok emergence you think?!

 

I’ll take those French and English albums, and a televised show and we’d be happy… Vegas nightly would be icing on the cake.

Yes. Social media engagement is extremely important nowadays to sell records - they are building up her comeback.

I’m gonna hope that and with Barnev saying he was told she’s been in the studio recording… all great signs. I also don’t think it was a coincidence that this was filmed at Palms hotel where she has recorded regularly.
