As we all know Celine is not writing nor producing her music, with just a few exceptions, do we know something about the copyrights? I remember a few years ago, someone explained that Rene in a way took care of those things and Celine is taking a part of the revenue from her catalogue. I really don't know how these things work, so I would very much appreciate if someone will take a few minutes. Thanks in advance! smile.png

We already have the first gift… It looks like they recorded all the videos on the same day. I don’t know, I have the impression that Celine actually just recorded the video and her community managers simply post it. I don’t think she really has control of the account, which is why they posted that random photo on TikTok. I don’t know, I was expecting something more personal, more one-to-one.

I wasn’t asking her to show her entire house or her whole private life, but something that would create a sense of closeness with us. I don’t know, a “get ready with me” or “showing my warehouse in Las Vegas,” or for example, “showing my closet,” like she did in the documentary. Of course, the first video announcing her TikTok was really successful; this current video, practically speaking, for Céline—a superstar—doesn’t have that. Besides, they post the video on all her social media. I have to say I was somewhat skeptical about Céline managing the account herself, because she knows very little to nothing about IT, but I don’t know, it could be possible given her wild personality. What she does on TikTok is literally her typical bland and boring Instagram-style message.

I wasn’t asking her to show her entire house or her whole private life, but something that would create a sense of closeness with us. I don’t know, a “get ready with me” or “showing my warehouse in Las Vegas,” or for example, “showing my closet,” like she did in the documentary. Of course, the first video announcing her TikTok was really successful; this current video, practically speaking, for Céline—a superstar—doesn’t have that. Besides, they post the video on all her social media. She wasn’t even started yet, just give her a time. She loves to surprise her fans and who knows she might post something “more personal” like you said later. Here she is, inisiating to talk about her songs which hopefully can boost her songs stream but you guys still want something more. I don’t get it. (Sorry if i’m being too harsh)

I hope she’ll talk about her deep cuts. I’d love her to revisit her first two English albums and talk about the deep cuts like (If There Was) Any Other Way, If We Could Start Over, Have A Heart (she’s probably going to talk about the 1987 Juno Awards performance about this song but would be nice to see her talking about this song in the big 2026 :giggle: ), Nothing Broken But My Heart, If You Could See Me Now and others (hopefully she still remembers those tracks i mentioned).

It’s true that everything starts somewhere, and that maybe one day she’ll surprise us by showing something from her private life or doing a dance with her children, but it’s normal that if she told us she was going to take over TikTok, we complain when she doesn’t really do so and instead posts some pre-recorded videos. That said, she does seem to have grown younger.

Slightly deflated with this video after the last video which made me really happy and excited.

 

I’m sure theses stories relating to songs we have heard before over the years at some point… so I’m not that hyped at this road they are going down now… I hope it’s new stories, but I doubt they are.

From the hotels behind her, can we guess where the video was shot from ?

 

Somebody on Twitter said it was filmed at The Palms. They have a recording studio there, where Céline usually records. Maybe these upcoming videos were filmed at that studio!

The Studio at the Palms, Las Vegas. Is on the grounds of the hotel/casino… and it’s where Celine recorded the bulk of her music I think by now. The music post 2003. The entire “Taking Chances” album was recorded there.

So true, and I get your point… but hasn’t even been 3 years lol, she just rehashed it AGAIN, in the vogue video she did “My Life In Looks”…

Yesterday they released a video asking us which songs we would like her to talk about.

Today, we got a video shot before ( so I think) the video of yesterday...

Be recorded months ago. Probably before the TikTok launch video… it’s like watching a grandma in her 90s learn how to use a a lawn mower for the first time.

 

Haha, it’s definitely the same outfit she’s wearing in the Christmas/New Year’s video, so whenever they recorded those. I definitely didn’t learn anything new in the video, lol.
