In Europe it was a big hit, I think it was bigger than A New Day

 

 

 

He still is a songwriter he earns royalties from the remix

 

 

my 3 faves from that album were - a new day has come (radio version), right in front of you , i'm alive . i think "right in front of you " deserves more love and attention, it has a terrific melody and lyrics.

I’ve always been curious about how a studio version of that remix would sound, with the original 2002 vocals 😍

 

Btw, I’m still in love with the live performance from Jamaica in 2012, one of her greatest ever!

Sounds like there will be multiple remixes.

 

The OG version also. But I can be wrong.

 

How amazing is this? They finally get along with something that has been going viral.

Guess they figured out the easy promo.

 

And what a coincidence, MET gala next week, and who knows maybe some docu promo.

 

Didn't knew the other dj was responsible for the Rasputin remix by Boney M. That song was everywhere last summer.

It was groovy, it was chill, it was subtle in change, it was bomb….

ThejammingKid nailed it the first time, it just needed some clean up… and clear vocals

''I'm Alive'' is one my favorite Celine's songs but this ''Set My Heart On Fire'' remix sounds pretty dull and dated, not my cup of tea.... this remix clearly doesn't hold a candle to Kygo's amazing remix of ''Higher Love'', now that's how to you re-imagine and update a song in a catchy way to make it an instant earworm.

Sadly I agree, they could have done a much better job if this was meant as an official release. And iTunes positions value nothing nowadays, it has no impact on charts.

Some comments are totally malicious (not to say totally hatred) and doesn't make any sense at all.

 

It all started with a random dude who did a mash up of "I'm alive" on tiktok and some months later he has his very first official release.

 

That's a very nice story.

 

It's like saying to unprofessional singers "you're not Celine Dion"...

I don't get it, why comparing to one of the highest profile DJ?

 

Celine's team didn't even get the idea to do something new...

 

Some people will never learn: we could shut down this board for what we knew as nothing was literally happening.

 

Such comments are as dull as the dullness they are pointing... how ironic is that? w00t.gif

 

(And I'm saying all this while I don't like "I'm alive".. sofunny.gif )

Well some of the official releases are far worse than this one.

At least this one is sent out, added to playlists even gets played by the dj himself.

 

Tell me the last time that happened with an official remix?

For me personally the I'm Alive Johnny Rocks Rhythm Radio Edit is the best remix of this song biggrin.png That intro alone is out of this world.

 

 

I think this remix is mindblowing. It feels larger than life, like a song for the football world cup :D

It seems that the first version got more popular than the actual release... 9.8 millions views so quickly on the DJ's IG... Maybe im wrong. I dont know...

Meanwhile she gained almost 100.000 new listeners on Spotify!

 

The day before the release it was 13.758.981 and now it's on 13.854.680.

 

This morning she gained like 65.000 listeners.

 

So yeah let's support this song, whether you like it or not.
