I actually don't listen to Miracle, only a few songs. So it was easy to choose three but finding the fourth one was quite difficult.shy.gif

 

After all, here are my choices:

 

1. In Some Small Way

2. What a Wonderful World

3. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

I never really liked Miracle album that much. However I became an oncle recently and this album has a new meaning to me now. I rediscovered some songs listening them with my little niece

The thing that puts me off from the song Miracle is the phrase ''who could ever love you more?''. I think it's a pretty toxic to say. It entails the risk of creating an a****** who is not going to appreciate any woman other than his mother. biggrin2.gif So yes, My Precious One is a lot better and Beautiful Boy is our only chance for this part of the setlist not to be a snooze-fest! giggle.gif Edited by LukeD

I do think in a perfect world nobody will EVER love you like your parent. Your mom especially… but then it’s on the mother to show her son how to treat that child’s partner, and raise a son/child who would treat their significant other with the utmost respect and love.

I get what your saying… but i mean in a moms heart i really don’t think she thinks there will be anyone on earth who love her children more than her… especially the bond they share from day 1, and all of the milestones after…. Not all parents feel this way sadly, but I think the ones who are doing it right, do.

 

However, it’s probably wise to NOT lead with “my mom loves me more than this earth” on a date… :sofunny:

Funny enough, the original title of the song is “Who Could Ever Love You More” and it was supposed to be on the ANDHC album.

Beautiful Boy has a summer feeling is a grower every time

 

My precious one - love it and love it

 

Miracle- has one of her best vocals

 

Very hard to decide

 

I’d prefer take out Come To me 😎

 

 

But I didn’t pick up Miracle, take out Miracle
