You're taking it too seriously. I find it soul-less too. I need to use my imagination to picture Celine behind it. I've always wondered how she would have sung "When You Believe", and with the AI version of it, I actually believe she would have sung it sooo much better than Whitney and Mariah...

 

It is more a curiosity for which you need to imagine the actual singer singing it. The deception is stated as-is from the beginning, and you can choose to be open to it or not. The same goes with autotune or playback, I guess. It itches me to listen to any of Mariah's recent lives because of the pre-recording parts, but I see that a lot of people are okay with it...

Most of you here probably won’t be interested by this, but I wanted to see how the AI model would deal in a completely different language. Colors of The Wind (Pocahontas) in Polish:

 

I’m also thinking of doing an older model of Celine’s voice. Those take time, so I need to make some choices. Was thinking of the Celine Dion/The Colour Of My Love era, but I’m afraid people might not care. So maybe the Let’s Talk About Love/These Are The Special Times era/All The Way era. I would like not to mix different eras, so if you have better ideas, please let me know ^^

Why not an AI model that would focus only on The Colour Of My Love album ? IMO her voice was at its peak in late 1993 and so much better than 1996.

Do you (or anyone) know of any other songs she recorded around that time? I feel like The Colour Of My Love is such a turning point from a vocal point of view. The "Celine Dion" album sounds a bit rough compared to it. And in the 1995 era onward, her voice is more polished, less piercing.

 

I'm just afraid that one album is enough for a model, so any song (recorded in a studio) around that time is welcome.

"The Christmas Song" was recorded in studio in mid 1993 and initially released in late 1993 on David Foster's Xmas album.

 

However the 15 songs from The Colour Of My Love album should be enough. From what I've heard for a RVC v2 AI voice model trained with 500 epochs, 45-60 minutes of acapella vocals is enough.

How come Mariah’s voice easily replicates by AI so perfect. Like this is scary. They can just do this and act that she’s the one really singing the song.

Whitney's version of ''I Will Always Love You'' clearly doesn't work with Celine's voice, Whitney's singing style in this song is too soulful and doesn't mingle well with Celine's voice. The opposite is also true, you will never find a good direct AI cover of Celine's ''My Heart Will Go On'' with Whitney's voice no matter how excellent the Whitney AI Voice Model is. However I think ''Greatest Love Of All'' or ''Saving All My Love For You'' would have worked so much better with Celine's voice.

 

Your Celine's AI voice model seems excellent though, are the vocals from ''The Colour Of My Love era'' ? It sounds so to me but I'm not 100% sure though 'cause Whitney original vocals are bleeding too much through the AI cover.

It was actually a mix of 1995 and 1998, but yeah, with Whitney's voice, it sounded like early Celine. I had to delete it because of copyright.

So I've made a 1998 model and decided to try it on "See You Again" by Charlie Puth. It is tricky because Charlie has this way of swallowing words, but I personally can hear Celine's tone. I hope you do too. If I see some interest, I might do a 1995 French model at some point ^^. Here's the video:

well, the melisma at the end of this song is believed to be inspired by Celine's All By Myself... they're the same notes/melody... It even fits in the song... I'd love to hear Celine singing it...
