I wonder what would have happened if she accepted and sang the song. Would it be a MHWGO 2.0? I guess so. Same with You‘ll Be. That would have propelled her to become the queen of soundtrack. If she did that and then took her break it would have massively helped her career. Or do you think that it would go in the opposite direction and that people would become sick of her? I don't know. Depends how much Sony would've promoted her new single. MHWGO was so huge that I don't know if after this song something could've been bigger. Look around, 25 years later and MHWGO is still the biggest song ever released (and I am not saying that just because I am a Celine fan).

I don't know but none of these AI songs sound like Celine to me. Maybe it's because I know she really did not sing any of them, but it just never feels like her when I listen.

 

After Titanic doing any soundtrack song with a year or two would have been bad. People were already getting tired of her because Titanic was so overplayed add in another big soundtrack song and it would have been too much.

But she recorded Then you look at me with a grandiose orchestra. So they went for another soundtrack in 1999. However, the movie was a fail so they didn’t ever acknowledge the single. Maybe they just didn’t want to do a song for another catastrophe movie. Edited by ryba

That must have been why I forgot that one since the movie was a flop. Did she turn down Don't Wanna or did it just not get to her?

Yes it was for the movie... the whole soundtrack has that theme and motif... just like Titanic has with MHWGO

I think the ''has'' high note toward the end sounds better in this than the original 2002 version.
