they could also release a snippet and then release the full song on Friday. I doubt any Céline song will have a big impact on the charts, no matter when it's released

We do have to accept that whatever we get from Celine music-wise from now on, and for however long these past years, is not going to impact any chart- and who cares? Why always the need for more, more, more? She had the huge success, and everything she does still is successful, but relatively so. We’d all enjoy what she does now much more without the pressure or expectation.

 

It baffles me that people care about the number of streams or plays a song or video gets. Celine accrues 10 million views of a video released 4 or 5 years ago, the title track of her latest album, and artists like Taylor Swift get that overnight. But who cares?? Why let that diminish your love of Celine? And actual enjoyment of her.

Amazing news. Well, the most important is to keep enjoying her music and her recovery.

Surprises are coming and this album will be a success... Why? Because we still are so fortunate to have new songs. There is a whole project: New Movie with an album, she is the soundtrack of my own life and many movies as well.

A new chapter in her life and career will begin.

That is actually a good marketing strategy for artists like Celine, that don’t make a impact on charts anymore. Friday is the day everyone releases new music, so older artists usually got lost in the middle of the masses. Releasing a day before, she get time to hit the news with a little less competition. Plus, she could hit the #1 spot on ITunes, which is not a hard thing to do on a non releasing day, and that will generate even more press.

That’s why I really love to see and hear Céline more in movie soundtracks. It’s like her and her music is really meant to be part of a movie.
