So still no idea where this tip came from, I’ve been looking everywhere to not avail, it seems several songs from Dan Wilson contain "love again" on the lyrics

Not surprised about there being some of Celine's 90s hits in this movie, none at all. After all those hits would be great selling point to the movie. But notice that there are NOT ANY songs listed. Don't be surprised we are going to get "Courage" songs. I guess since Celine's health issues is preventing her from singing, then it looks like there will be no actual new music from Celine on the horizon.

Ok first off, I was replying to another members post, it was not a reply to you this time. OMG seriously can I like not be able to reply to other people's posts? I should not need your permission to reply to other people on this forum.

 

& Yes the songs on the "Courage" album are NOT NEW, (it was released in November 2019, so the album is over 2 years old now,) & definitely not new to US FANS who have bought & listened to the album numerous times since it's release in 2019 (& as a Celine fan, I am of course assuming you have bought that album & have listened to it since then like the rest of us fans!)

 

But... It WOULD NOT be considered new to majority of the general public who have never even heard of the "Courage" album, as NONE of the songs got radio play (& let's face it, Celine's has been at the stage of not getting any radio play at all, with the exception of Christmas songs, especially here in the U.S., since the mid 2000s, I have not heard a non-Christmas song from Celine on the radio since around 2004-2005,) so most people might not know any of the songs from "Courage", or even know of it's existence at all! & her record label just might put "Courage" songs on the album knowing that the general public might not heard of the songs before (even if us Celine fans know the songs backwards & forwards lol.)

 

& If you think that Sony Music could "never do that, HAHA YEA THEY WOULD. This is Sony music we are talking about here, we all know they are not that creative when it comes to Celine lol. & with the fact that she currently can not sing thanks to health issues, we all she has not been in the recording studio in the past 3 years.

Really looking forward to the new soundtrack!!! Hard to be patient waiting to hear about the release date of the album, and the official tracklist! lol This is going to be a really exciting new release and moment in Celine's iconic career!

 

I love that Celine will star as herself, and play a mentor figure who inspires the films main characters played by Sam Heughan & Priyanka Chopra, encouraging them to open themselves back up to love, and to fall in love again. Such a exciting and cool idea! And, from the movie trailer, it looks like Celine will be in many scenes of the movie!

 

Regarding the music, we know Sam Heughan told Variety that Celine has recorded a NEW song for the film, and we can hear Celine singing a brief clip of a new song in the movie’s trailer.

 

In addition to Celine recording a new song for the movie, Sam Heughan had mentioned to Kelly Clarkson last year on Kelly’s talk show, that Celine has also “supplied a lot of music for the movie as well”! It’s exciting to think about what songs have been supplied to make this movie hopefully a new romantic comedy classic that people will love!

 

What Celine songs do you think might be, or should be included in the new film, & on the movie soundtrack album?

 

We can certainly assume that “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now”- that is included in the movies trailer (and was previously the name of the movie), will be included in the movie, and the soundtrack, and could be a perfect song to play in a scene when Priyanka Chopra’s character is reflecting back on previous memories with her former lover that passed away. It would also be be a great song to play again later in the movie, as the leading characters have embraced that they both truly found love again in each other, essentially saying that remembering what it’s like to be in love again and all that comes with that, which is- “all coming back to” them!

 

Hopefully, other than a new song we heard in the movie trailer, we will also be treated to some other never before released songs Celine’s recorded over the years!

 

Usually, there are around 10 to 13 songs on most albums, so other than “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now”, what other songs from Celine’s incredible career do you think might have been chosen to be in the movie, and that would be amazing as part of the movie’s soundtrack??

 

Here’s some of my top picks that I believe could not only fit very well in the movie, and could also be a great opportunity for these songs (several are very underrated, under-valued, or unknown outside of Celine's loyal fanbase), to be appreciated and celebrated as amazing songs:

• "Falling In Love Again"- This song from the Courage album is absolutely a perfect fit for this movie, and movie soundtrack! The title of the song, Celine's beautiful, pure, elegant and emotional vocals (one of the best vocal performances on the album), and the heartfelt lyrics, such as:
  

"When the sun went down on that day

I never thought that love would come back to me

When I closed my eyes and tried to dream

Darkness was the only thing I could see

I had run out of hope

Reached the end of the road

Hit the rocks at the bottom with no farther to go

But just when I thought I was destined to end up all alone

• “With This Tear”- I think this would be a perfect song to place over a scene early in the movie that shows both leading characters feeling lonely and longing for a new connection after they both suffered heartbreak.
  

• “Love Is On The Way”- the lyrics of this song could fit perfectly in a scene where Priyanka Chopra's character is dreaming & hoping that one day she will find love again.
  

• “I Surrender”- this could be an awesome song choice to play in a scene where both leading film characters realize that they’re falling in love with each other, and they realize that they surrender their fear and pride to the real love they have and the future that they can enjoy with each other! I've believed for years that "I Surrender" was one of the greatest songs in Celine's legendary career that absolutely should have been released as a single (could have been a massive #1 hit), and it would be so good to have this song included in the movie and the movie's soundtrack album to bring more awareness and admiration to the song!
  

Other songs that could possibly work well in this film are-

 

The ballad's: “I Love You”, “Dreamin’ Of You”, “A World To Believe In”, "Thankful”, "I Know What Love Is", and "Stand By Your Side"

 

And the uptempo songs: "Faith", "Fade Away", “How Did You Get Here”, and "Declaration of Love"!

I'm hoping for one more iconic Celine classic in there -- like The Power of Love. Obviously, it can't be My Heart Will Go On. And Because You Loved Me might not happen either, since it was for Up Close and Personal.

 

I think this is an excellent chance for Celine's hits to be rediscovered.

I think its a great opportunity to release new music and re-release at least a couple of songs from courage. I expect lots of funny references to Celine songs, and characters singing them, but not as much focus on the classics.

 

Hopefully they can pull a single for Falling In Love Again (I mean, they have to take advantage of it, right?) and maybe later for Lying Down and release the video (the MOST wishful thinking)....

Why would there be? I mean yes, existing songs could be. But I don't think they would release a new song from other artists if Céline Dion is starring in their film.

Yes, If they already has used other artists songs on the trailer.... probably the soundtrack album is going to be 3-4 songs from Celine and a mix of rom-com type of general music... and remember, Nick Jonas is on the movie...

Movie soundtracks are usually released one week before the movie release: that means that it should be out on Friday May 5.

I agree that we are looking at an early May release. However, I hope that the set-list becomes available by mid-April. I am very excited about this!

I'm thinking we could get an announcement about the new "Love Again" soundtrack, and first single release for the movie from Celine hopefully by the end of this month!

 

Besides "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" and possibly "That's The Way It Is" being included in the movie and soundtrack, hopefully there's not any other previous greatest chart hits from Celine that were already singles. I'm very happy that "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" being included in the movie because it's one the the best songs ever, but Celine has MANY really great songs from albums in her career that are incredible album tracks, that haven't got much appreciation, and are VERY underrated and unkown outside of Celine's loyal fans.

 

One of those songs is: "Love Doesn't Ask Why"! Such an AMAZING song I've been listening to recently that should be a Celine Dion classic that more people should know about, including a new generation, since the album track is from "The Colour of My Love" album that was released almost 30 years ago. The music, lyrics, production is all phenomenal!, and Celine's voice is outstanding!!!

 

So if Celine has let's say 2 new songs, and let's say there's 3 or 4 songs by other artists on the soundtrack, then hopefully the rest of the soundtrack will consist of some

of Celine's songs that had all the potential to be giant hits, but weren't released as singles previously, and also that have lyrics that perfectly fit with the premise of the film.

 

Here's my wish/dream list for the soundtrack:

1. "Love Again"- new song by Celine (as heard in the film's trailer)
   
   
2. Another new song by Celine that was recorded for the film, (before Celine became very ill with her current health condition)
   
   
3. "It's All Coming Back To Me Now"- "Love Again" remix- hopefully any of Celine's previously released songs that will be in the film and on the soundtrack will be just VERY slightly edited/modified, and can techinally be considered a new film remix
   
   
4. "I Surrender"- "Love Again" radio remix- how incredible if "I Surrender" could FINALLY have the chance to be released as an official single, if the film and soundtrack perform well and have longevity??!
   
   
5. "Falling In Love Again"- "Love Again" remix (PERFECT lyrics and song title to be part of the this film!!)
   
   
6. "I Love You"- "Love Again" remix
   
   
7. "Faith"- "Love Again" remix (such an awesome uptempo, exciting, cheerful, positive song by Celine and the lyrics can fit really well with this film!)

The ninth track on The Colour of My Love, this song might be one of the best vocal performances she has ever put out.
