Alternate music video. I guess the film rights really were the sticking point all this time. Such a gorgeous music video, so timeless and handled like the true classic it is/was.

Now this is even better than the official music video! We all know that rights to the film clips have been the main reason why it's taking Celine's team ages to release the video. I find it incredibly sad that given how mutually beneficial their relationship was, an agreement couldn’t be found between Sony and Disney to upload the original video with movie footage.

yeah exactly! You'd also think that with technology they can split the incomes for each group. In the end isn't it all promotion for either the movie or the singer?

 

Same goes for the Diva's Live album btw... why isn't it on Spotify!? and shouldn't the profit go to charity anyway.

What a great surprise to wake up to this new video. Love everything about it, even the parts that look fake haha. She feels the song so much more in it. It is crazy how during those past 25 years, I keep falling in love again and again with MHWGO. There's never been another song that has been like that to me.

Of course they recorded Céline lipping the whole song! You wouldn't just record specific parts.

I couldn't agree more.

 

I am so happy we got this version though. And they did what I wanted them to do. Just cut every scene from the film and just focus on Celine. I just might love this more than the original.

 

I do wonder if we'll ever get to see this original music video in true high quality. Do you guys know if the MHWGO music video is included on a Titanic blu-ray? It's been re-released so many times. As far as I know it's only ever been released in DVD quality. (Or upscaled by fans)

I'm still speechless at the quality and how they remastered this. Each frame could easily be a desktop wallpaper I mean this one right here, for example, could pass for a movie poster or a painting!
