December 8th was the official 25th anniversary of "My Heart Will Go On".

 

Happy Anniversary to the absolutely timeless, iconic song and congratulations to Celine, and everyone that was involved in making the classic song, and also on the incredible impact the song has had on so many people since it's release in such a meaningful way!

The legacy of Celine's signature song will continue to grow and become even more monumental in years to come.

 

It was very strange timing that the world found out about Celine's horrible health condition, being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, with the announcement video from Celine being posted online to the world on the exact 25th anniversary of "My Heart Will Go On", December 8th.

 

I've been devastated and heartbroken since I saw the announcement video. Hearing Celine decribe her diagnosis and heath issues with so much emotion and pain in her eyes and voice, was tragic and awful. :down:

Celine and her amazing voice and songs have been such a huge part of my life for a very long time, since I was young, and Celine has felt like a family member for years that I love and care deeply about.

The thought of Celine going through this horrible neurological disorder after all the trama and grief she's already endured in her life is heart-wrenching.

 

As much as I hope Celine will be able to fight this disorder, with the help of God, her doctors, and her family, including Rene Charles and Nelson and Eddy, and is able to still perform (if possible) again for her fans, as she wants to do, or record music again, more than anything else... I care about Celine as the wonderful, caring person she is, and I hope and pray she stays strong in faith, hope, and courage. I hope she has the very best quality of life possible. Celine has given us so much for so long- more than 40 years, I hope now she feels all the love her fans have for her during this difficult season in her life, and takes as much time as she needs to battle this horrific health disorder.

 

It's been encouraging and amazing to read and watch all the love pouring in from Celine's peers in music, celebrities that love her and have been inspired by her, and from her devoted, loyal fans.

 

One of the nicest hashtag trends I've seen lately was #prayforCeline. I have been praying for her and her family and I will continue to do so.

Celine has released many amazing songs with incredible messages about hope and faith, and as Celine has sang many times in her classic "The Prayer", I pray God and His incredible son Jesus will be Celine's eyes, helping her, giving her strength and comfort in this time when we don't know why this happened and don't know the outcome, and will guide her with grace and continue to give her faith.

 

One song I also keep thinking of is "That's The Way It Is", and the lyrics: "When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt, don't give up on your faith, love comes to those who believe it".

 

May God continue to bless and help Celine, and her family, and provide healing and strength to stay so strong, and fight against Stiff person syndrome and live many more years, knowing that Jesus loves her very much and is always there for and with her, including in times of pain and trouble. :heart:

It would be nice if her team posted lots of clips like this.

 

The biggest thing they could do, of course, is upload the official MHWGO music video to her channel.

 

She recorded one of the biggest songs of all time… I hope there’s more celebration and acknowledgment to come. Maybe once Titanic is re-released in theaters.

Dont know about worldwide but in the US the maxi singles for MHWGO and I Want You to Need Me are finally on Spotify!

 

The dance remixes are so good for both songs

I'm watching TITANIC on German TV right now. What a beautiful and classic movie. It's J. Cameron's masterpiece.

I still remember being 8 years old when the song was released. I could not speak English but had learnt the song phonetically by heart. Everyone in my class knew it as well. :yes: It was the song that made an impact on me, not the film. The film I did not quite understand as I could not read the subtitles properly :pinch: I was also fed up with how all girls liked DiCaprio. :giggle: But the song hit me hard and stayed with me every since... Same goes for Immortality, The Reason, and Where Is The Love from that album. LTAL is the Celine album I am the most connected with and I know this is not going to change, primarily due to the bonding taking place at such a young age.

Team Celine would be wise to get the official music video uploaded to her channel in time for the rerelease of Titanic. It’s prime time for Celine’s music to have a monumental comeback!

I get that they’re trying to focus on the love story aspect and minimize the tragedy - and it’s made all the more difficult since every living person on this planet has seen this movie- but even then, this trailer is poorly done.

 

Instead of the “make each day count” quote, the “you jump, I jump” line would have better suited it for a theme… it’s certainly more romantic. Even the “I’ll never let go” line would have been better imho.

Do we have a breakdown of the MHWGO single's sales per major music market? Taking into account streaming numbers/sales? 425m streams on Spotify, but what else?

 

The song must have sold between 12m to 18m and I would like to know where that came from!

I reckon Céline will release My Heart Will Go On music video?

 

But that's a dream never to come true.

 

Maybe Paramount or 20th century fox would release it?
