Unreleased songs from Courage would still be new for everyone.

 

 

 

Yea I have seen the post about "new songs", but it really MIGHT NOT MEAN ACTUAL "NEW SONGS", know what I'm saying? It might be unreleased songs from the "Courage" album, (meaning songs that have not ever been released to the public at this point, as only a few songs were ever released from "Courage" before the covid pandemic happened & shows were cancelled.) So even though the songs might not be "new" TO US - Celine's fans who have bought & listened to "Courage" many times during the past 3 & a half years since it's release in 2019 - it would be CONSIDERED NEW to most of the general public who have not ever bought or listened to the "Courage" album, so the songs from that album might be "new" to them. Sorry to have to say this yet again, but "Courage" was for the most part a HUGE FLOP! Yes it was #1 on the billboard charts for it's first week, but the following week it fell right off the charts & never went back up the charts again! So most of the general public most likely do not know of the existence of the "Courage" album or any of the songs on it!

 

So like many of the other members on this forum have written besides me, do not be surprised if the "new songs" are just left over songs from "Courage". After all, with Celine's current health struggles, I very much doubt Celine has been able to record any new songs as she has said herself that because of her spasms she CAN NOT be able to sing & perform on stage (just like she was not able to participate in that tribute album from last year because of her current health issues!) So while it would be awesome if Celine has recorded any actual new songs lately, but because of the health issues she is going through with the Stiff Persons Syndrome that is making it hard for her to sing right now, we should anticipate that the "new songs" are most likely just a few unreleased songs from "Courage", so we do not get our hopes too high & be disappointed (as no offense, that seems to happen very often on this forum, there has been much disappointments during the past 3 years every time Celine has had to cancel/postpone shows many times, & whenever other things did not end up working out (because of Celine's health issues.)

Plus the reason why I have mentioned about the "Muppets" movie & comparing this movie to that, is because I remember that the "Muppets" movie was BLOWN UP INTO A HUGE DEAL by Celine's team & the media all over Facebook/Instagram/Twitter back then! (Now I DO NOT know how this forum was like back then in 2014 when "Muppets" was released because I was not aware of this forum back then,) but I know it was all over social media!

 

It was hyped that this was "CELINES BIG ACTING DEBUT", just like this movie is being hyped as! But as we all seen with the Muppets movie, it was SO NOT her "acting debut"! Now I am not an actress or singer or anything myself, I am just a lowly daycare teacher lol... but I am very sure that being on screen for only 5 seconds & barely any lines is NOT an acting debut! I am just hoping that this movie "Love Again" is nothing like the "Muppets" movie, I am just trying to not set myself up for more disappointment (as there is SO MUCH of that nowadays in the Celine world, as us fans are all facing the possibility of Celine's early retirement from singing because of her current health issues!) Luckily my kids are older now than they were when "Muppets" was out, during that time they were also fussy as they did not care for that movie either, personally I only saw that movie BECAUSE OF CELINE being in it lol.

 

& yes I have not been on this forum because I have had ALOT OF PERSONAL STUFF GOING ON THESE DAYS! In my own life in the past 2 years, especially in 2022, I have had quite a few losses in my family & on my boyfriend's/my kids fathers family as well! So I have been grieving & so has my boyfriend & kids as well! So sorry I have not been on this forum that much these days, nothing against the forum, but I have had much more important stuff to deal with than reading/posting on the frickin forum 24/7 ok! Yes I did hear about Celine's diagnosing of the Stiff Persons Syndrome a few months back & have read ALOT of articles on the illness (& to me it seems like Celine has a REALLY ROUGH ROAD AHEAD with this!) & with everything else going on in my life these days, it also make me depressed that one of my most favorite singers ever might be forced to retire early because of this illness she is now dealing with!

 

& No I do not want any pity from anybody on this forum, not asking for that. I am just explaining why I have not been on here that much these days, as I have had much more stuff to deal with, & my family & I are still grieving while dealing with working/school/raising children, etc.

I have not posted about the same things a 1,000 times, I have not posted on this forum in MONTHS!

 

& Plus have you actually saw the movie yet? No you have NOT, just like the rest of us! So how are you "so sure" that the new songs are not songs from the "Courage" album? Yea they might not be, but it is a huge possibility given Celine's current health crisis, Celine is not able to sing these days obviously (which has been the reason why her shows have been cancelled/postponed for almost 3 years, & it's not been just because of Covid, as almost everybody has been back to performing since 2021,) so we should anticipate that these "new songs" most likely will songs from "Courage" which might not be so new to us Celine fans, but would be new to most of the general public!

 

& yes I have read posts off this thread that other members are having the SAME SPECULATIONS about this as I am! Given the news of Celine's current health issues, apparently I am not the only one with this speculation about the "new songs"!

That's true, even though us huge long-time Celine Dion fans who have bought every Celine Dion song, album, etc she has ever released & we all most likely know the "Courage" album backwards, forwards, & sideways by this point, most of the GENERAL PUBLIC, those people who do not buy much of Celine's music, does not keep up with everything Celine-related like we do!

 

So yes there are actual people out there who might not know the songs from "Courage" or even know of it's existence! Let's face it, "Courage" was not much of a big selling album overall, none of the songs got radio play (at least here in the United States, & in this country Celine has not gotten any radio play outside of Christmas songs during the holidays, since around 2004/2005! Celine is not "the latest flavor" in pop music & has not been in many years sadly! But it it what it is unfortunately!)

How am I a troll? Because I do not post every day? That is not a troll! Not everybody posts on a forum or on social media every day! It is possible to have a life outside of this forum, or outside the internet!

 

I have been grieving losses for the past few months, so sorry if posting on this little forum is not my biggest priority! & NEWS FLASH: IT DOES NOT MAKE ME LESS OF A FAN EITHER! & I am very sure that there are LOTS of Celine fans who do NOT post on this forum as well! Who the heck is "Tricey"? & no I do not get offended by anything "Pepe-related"! What does Pepe have to do with any of this? Judging by Pepe's social media & Celine's social media, Pepe has NOT even been around Celine in the past 3 years (& we all know Celine has NOT been performing for the past 3 years as well,) so obviously Pepe would not be around much these days, as there seems to be a "professional/work friendship" between them. & with Celine's current health issues, her singing on stage is her last priority these days I would think. Who even knows if Celine is even able to sing again anytime soon, or if ever again, with her current health issues!

Hello, I know this is totally random, & since Celine's birthday is later this month & all:

 

Since "Courage" will most likely be Celine's very last album of TOTALLY NEW songs that she has released, we should try to make one of the songs off that albums go #1 somehow, like when Mariah Carey & her fans did that with her dang overplayed Christmas song a few years back lol (sorry I have nothing against Mariah, & I used to love "All I want for Christmas is you", but that song has been played to death in recent years in my opinion! Moving on...)

 

But I remember Mariah's fans making that song #1 on the charts again, & I think we should all try that for Celine with one of the "Courage" album songs! So what do you think? Please let me know & hopefully it will happen, please spread this around to all of your friends, family, & other Celine fans on social media. Thanks so much!

I think it’s nothing to worry about. The movie might be distributed by another company in Germany. Sony Pictures Releasing International are responsible for international distribution of Sony US movies, and they usually have deals with several companies.

On the IMDB website they date May 10th for German release, and in company credits in distribution they put Sony Pictures Releasing Internation and for example for netherlands Universal Pictures, so probably Universal will make the Europe release

I’m so excited for this movie.

 

Even though it remains a difficult time in Celine’s personal life, I hope this film (and the new music) will remind the general public of Celine’s brand of love.

 

A dark cloud has followed Celine since 2016.

 

People used to associate her with uplifting music and romance. I hope this movie brings that back to the forefront. I hope her old fans come back and she’s discovered by new fans.
