Anyways, I think she should definitely sing Imperfections. This song -and its message- is very iconic and contains the message Céline wants to deliver in this new era.

Does it make sense to release a new single now when AC radio is already switching to Xmas music? She won't get much support on the new song because of that. But it would make sense any at any other time of the year! Let's see what the Sony strategy is...

They seem to usually record at 5PM or so on the day of, so it will probably tape Friday around then.

I really don't see them do that much effort.

Especially since she has absolutely no time or interest to promote it.

 

Truly think this 2/3 weeks will be it.

Still hope she will promote something in Europe when she is there, but she rather be at a fashion show is my guess

She's not desperately trying anything. She experimented. It's what artists do. And she succeeded well. The album sounds marvelous.

 

I was saying that she ISN’T desperately trying anything. “It would show people that Céline IS still the ballad queen and NOT some old singer desperately trying to stay current”.

 

I never said any of the other songs would make her seem desperate... I just said that “Courage” would be the best option in my opinion.

Perfect song to showcase how this album is about finding strength / finding yourself after losing the love of your life.

It will reintroduce her to the masses in a sincere way.

 

Hopefully she can sing 2 songs!

Jimmy seems to have like 4 guests on Fridays telecast, that worries me her segment will be super short. If I remember correctly last time, I think there was only one other guest?

I know off tropic a bit and this is not a spoiler, but I can’t wait to read your review when you hear the album. I think you are going to add a few more songs into that category of “one of her best songs in her entire English repertoire”. It’s such a beautifully done album!

I also tried checking online for Fallon tickets (which I know are always impossible to get) but don't see him taping on Nov 15th. Was this taped already or is it being pre-taped in the next two days?

His Friday show is always filmed on Thursday night. Smart man, takes a super long weekend lol

So Glad she is doing Jimmy Fallon. Best late night for ratings.

 

Kind of hoping she does Imperfections or Change my Mind. Frig I love that song. Alternately Courage would be great.

 

Surely she has a couple more slots this week. Kinda hoping for an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Friday has a "surprise guest" and it is in NYC. I presume she'll be stationed in NYC area this week and flying up to Montreal Saturday or Sunday.

 

So far no Ellen. Which for me is fine. Because she drives me nuts and her and Celine's interviews are always awkward as hell.

 

Live from the GMA studio or TODAY on Friday would also be smart
