and please let's not get into that that she always was that skinny, no she wasn't.

no they could have done a specific photoshoot. It is just called lack of artistry when you make a photo during her Vegas concert and use that for a new themed tour.

 

Knowing how much Céline loves photoshoots, I don’t think lack of artistry was the reason. I think they either thought the photo would appeal to many fans or simply liked the photo. I personally love that dress and would not be bothered if she wore it on the tour.

Well, as for the new tour...she’s beginning in Canada. Those will be mostly French shows. (Has she gone there since EUS was released? I can’t remember.) It’ll be a greatest French hits show with songs from EUS probably thrown in a bit as well as a couple of English hits, FOMO, and whatever the lead single off the new album will be. It’s only the October shows in the USA that she’ll be doing before the album is released.

 

This tour is obviously to, in part, ensure that the album is #1 when it’s released - an album for each ticket sold - but since Celine hasn’t toured the USA in 11 years, this will mostly be a “greatest hits” tour with a few new songs. I, myself, will hope for at least 6 songs off the new album, but realistically I think we’ll be lucky to get 4.

 

I can’t wait for the French shows. I’m more excited for them than I am for the English ones. She hasn’t done French shows in over two years so it’s incredibly exciting to see how she sings those songs now and what songs she will choose (I’m hoping for the return of “Destin” and “J’irai où tu iras”).

Why does everyone seem to ignore the fact that Céline specifically said “This will not be the Vegas show” and “We will not bring the Vegas show on tour”. Of course she’s going to sing MHWGO, TPOL, BYLM, IACBTM etc. She will sing those for the rest of her life but I truly believe this show will be, as Céline said, spectacular.

 

Because she stated in that video where the guy brought her bangers and mash that she her Hyde Park show would have several songs from the new album and instead she just did Vegas. We, as fans, have plenty of reason to doubt what she says about music. She’s often goes the lazy route and just does what she’s comfortable with.

She said “maybe a few new songs”, you got Imagine and FOMO lol, so technically, she didnt lie. She never said several songs from the new album, hell, we didnt even know when it was scheduled for release and i doubt she did either

What’s so good about her approach? Celinenununu is a terrible clothing line, gender neutral is okay she wants to support that but the clothing is hideous it looks like a demon dark line. Kids clothing should defiantly be more light and optimistic IN MY OPINION of course.

 

I'm kinda confused about this kind of opinion because who buys a whole collection of a clothing line? Like everyone I know just mix and matches from different stores, lines. There's some great pieces in there, and a lot of basic clothes that are great for neutralising an outfit. This minimalistic approach is the signature of this line but more so, I don't know if you've been around children a lot, the kind of colours that get cleaned easily which is very important when kids play outside etc. Not for everyone but I don't see why wearing grey pants from this and a red shirt from a different company is such an issue? It's really not limiting anyone

I find it quite ironic that Celine mentioned in this new CR interview that she doesn't like to be referred to as a queen, yet she recently wore a coat with the word queen on the back in huge white letters. Mixed messages to say the least.

 

I also found it pretty funny that Celine said about not allowing photographers to take a picture of her past the knee caps 5 years ago and acting like wearing a short dress and showing her underwear is something she's never done before or something. Ermm, does Celine remember any of her past outfits? I guess she forgets the Jamaica Festival, taking Chances tour and the countless other times she's worn a short dress and revealed her undergarments.

 

I sometimes wonder if Celine's forgotten her past looks and fashion experiences, because when she went to her first few fashion shows after Rene's passing, she said it was her first fashion show in 19 years, when in reality it wasn't even 10 years. I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes the way Celine talks about her fashion looks of the past, it's like she's forgotten all her time Annie Horth and the many fashion glamor moments they shared together.

 

For some reason, she seems to only remember and focus on her good girl moments of her past. I guess she prefers to remember her past life in that light, because it was her time she shared with Rene and that was always the image he wanted to portray for her career. That was always something very important to him, so I think Celine looks back on her past and only remembers those moments.

 

It's really cute in a way, how she blocks out certain things relating to her life with Rene, only to heighten there romance and love together in her mind. For example: Celine only remembers her kisses with Rene and says that he was her first kiss and only man she's ever kissed, when in reality none of those statement are true. Celine kissed a boy when she was 14 and shared many other kisses since then onstage, in music video and in her French mini series acting role in the early 90's, yet she only remembers the kisses she had with Rene.

 

Celine has also said many times that Rene was her only manager, but she had a manager before him in 1980. Even after Rene passed away, she wouldn't even allow herself to think or refer to Aldo as her manager It's beyond adorable and romantic the way she views her life and romance with Rene!

 

Does anyone else also think that Celine only did this interview and photoshoot, because this magazine/book is called CR? (Celine & Rene) That's what I thought of right away, as soon as I saw the CR letters. It made me think of there wedding invitations.

She remembers what she Wants to remember that's indeed funny. I would say she had more daring photos in the past

That is why they named Rene Charles with those initials. I remember Celine saying so before. The Charles part was also named after her grandfather I think, but she said Celine and Rene used the R and C in his name to represent both there names in there sons name!

Did the premiere performances of LMBTL and FOMO make the audience dazed and confused, gasping stunned in their seats and barely clapping when it was over?

 

Sure I too want new songs ASAP, but including new never heard songs in the setlist isn't surely as dramatic as some of you now might think.

As a fan who attended her last show in London, I can positively say her artistry was anything but present on that show. She was totally in the kind of mood "let's get this done asap and go home"

 

2016 tour? That was artistry.

 

2017 tour? Not much artistry, but she was enthusiastic and incorporated several new songs and the dancing number with Pepe, a side of her we had barely seen before. That was artistry. But since then? The past 2018 Asian tour was a fiasco in those terms, a mere copycat of the Vegas show.

The string medley of the 2018 tour was indeed WONDERFUL. I just thought that was from her Vegas show....

 

If not I take back a bit of my criticism of the 2018 tour - the string medley is probably the highest quality performance in her concerts in forever (next to The Reason from 2018 and forward)!!

 

I mean.. considering she was off sick for almost all of January-May, rehearsals i would think wouldve been nigh on impossible to do, especially due to the nature of what she was recovering from. Thanks! Very nice clip, they had a great variety of her looks and so glad about the song choices being actually quite current (ok BYLM sneaked in there a bit though).

 

Even though I CRAVE new music and music evolvement from her I am not one of those who think she should lay off fashion! I am so proud of her success in this field and am so glad and proud that she's now relevant and being recognised all over again (I mean didn't we wish this for her??). I am impressed, proud fan and glad for her sake.

 

But to make such a fuzz about a "new project" when it was "just another" photo shoot was a bit unnessesary though.

 

BTW considering there's so many of her songs in this clip is the song at about 00:30-00:46 a new track from her or something else? Here's me hoping for another dance track!

That wasn't her team though, it was ET that called this a surprise project to attract viewers.

 

Like it or not this is media coverage for her, and it's positive. They aren't dragging her name, or making fun of her, in fact they bring up her new music and tour.

And for those that worry over random people commenting negative things about her on the internet, just don't. Stupid people have been saying crap about her since she started her career, this is nothing new and it won't ever stop. Not for Celine or for any other celebrity. More so when it comes to fashion because so many just don't get what it's all about, especially with high fashion.

 

Also, I have to laugh at that comment about Celine calling herself BOSS because it's what Pepe calls her. Good job nitpicking there lol. Rene has called her the "Boss" and even she has called herself the Boss when Rene was around ("he wears the pants but I'm the boss"). This isn't anything new, she's just repeating it more. And it's more true now than it was back then imo.

Im sick of this fashion obsession .. happy for her but seriously , music is vibrations feelings emotions, while fashion is superficial character projection .. I just want a tiny bit of infos regarding MUSIC. There is no balance it's all fashion always maybe the timing is wrong since we are all craving and expecting new music and everytime she has the spotlight on she just never say anything about her as a musician

The fisheye lense make her look weird. i am sure that is art but..it is a no for me. The hair and outfit in the L’oreal commercial - there she looked beautiful - not here.

How cool could it been if she is ALREADY singing their FOMO to pull out some cool video for this song?

to give us a little surprise? Then these kind of photoshoot could also fit very well to this song

while she up there on the Tower and in other locations that were used for this photoshoot.
