Now that I listen to the snippet I believe that this song was intended to be on the Love Again soundtrack, but maybe they left it out cause they thought that it doesn’t quite fit. I'm really looking forward to the documentary, but I must say that now, with this disappointing tracklist and lacking 'Play me like a love song,' I've given up hope that this song will ever be released. I think it's either now or never. I always hoped that they were intentionally saving it for something special, but apparently not.

I have already tag Sony Music Canadá, Gatica, Carole Bager... I dont know. It seems like I am more like a hater than a fan from Céline, but at least they can worry about her fans and hearing us. "Baby" made the final cut in the regular version from Courage, and "Play me like a love song" not, for what reason? Of course, I al not saying that "Baby" is a bad song, but I think it didnt drive us as crazy as we were with "The hard way" or "Perfect goodbye" (no price for hearing Celine "this sh*t is perfect, haha).

 

If Celine's Team continues with The idea of re-re-releasing everything, please, take into account the idea of reissuing her first albums in vinyl, with bonustracks, etc. (Yes, I am dreaming 😂😂)

The song was not bought because the leaker closed his account on Leaked.cx and disappeared.

It's a real grief that she doesn't want to, can't, isn't allowed to release this song.

I think the redheads are just respectful not to pretend that they are official news. They probably get some inside information but they let her team do the official announcement so that’s why they use words like maybe. That’s my two cents.

If you listen to the clips, you can hear a voice say "later on leak.cx" multiple times. This is a common practice when someone's trying to sell an unreleased/bootlegged track and wants to prove they have it but wants to prevent anyone from getting a clean preview. It's obviously not an official release - we can only hope that they got the track because it was going through an official process when it leaked and they're gearing it up for release, but that's of course just being hopeful.

Yes, and while I’m all for them opening that vault as it has been long overdue, I have to admit my head directly goes to “why now..?” And that reason scares me a bit. But let’s see what happens and try to stay positive.. maybe they want to give us an English single and comeback with a full length French studio album, In the way did with “Recovering” followed by EUS album.
