Yep Fade Away is the best song on the album and screamed for single with a great video. TC, Alone and FA would have been a great single/video triology.

 

 

“Alone”, tho I like the song had no business ever even being a single...a album filler and live selection is one thing but theres no reason to make a hugely successful cover song a single.

 

I think the singles should’ve been “Taking Chances”, “Surprise Surprise” , “Fade Away” & “Eyes On Me” would’ve been great singles.

SS is great, but not single material and yes, EOM was definitely single worthy, it's so catchy.

And her cover of Alone is one of the highlights of the album :wub:.

I kind of think the singles of Taking Chances should have been: Taking Chances, New Dawn, Fade Away and That's Just The Woman In Me. Actually Map To My Heart should have been a single when I think about it, and of course included in the main version of the album.

You all say Sia, Eg White, Diane Warren but those songs were recorded in what 2016/2017?!

Who says that there are still using those songs.

If the Linda Perry song is a My Love Part II then thanks but no thanks, the same goes for the Eg White song. I don't want mediocre songs on the new record. It took her 6 years to work on it, so it better contains hits only Edited by ryba

The show must go on will make it to the album for sure....not a fan, but the same goes for Recovering...

Diane Warren was a genious during the 90s (NBBMH still is one of my favorites sogs)

But after "unfinished song" her touch was like..gone

I don’t think TSMGO will be on the album. “Ashes” and “Recovering” have a good chance to be on it.

I hope for ONLY new songs not a single song that we’ve heard before but I doubt it.

I honestly doubt that Recovering and The Show Must Go On will be on the album.

 

We shall see!!

 

Ashes MIGHT. But even that is now a year old.

 

I'd be fine if some of these were bonus tracks. But I even want NEW bonus tracks! And, of course, some "making of the album" footage. I wonder if we are getting a documentary??

BATB is from 91 and they used it on Celine Dion... I would not have troubles with Ashes on the new album. But NOT R, TSMGO, or HDAMLF

Back then it was different, back then if they didn’t include a song on a album tee wouldn’t have access to it. Now with music streaming, we can always get our hands on the songs like Recovering... but if it’s releaased as part of a whole album I’m afraid it will just a slot on the tracklist that otherwise another song would have. People can always make a playlist adding it to the complete later on, it’s very easy; win, win situation!

No no no no to all of the songs you all keep saying should be on the album.

 

Only Ashes would be a good fit, all the others are part of the past. And should be released on a best of in 10 years.

Not on her 'comeback' album.

I have no idea how those streams work. But wouldn't (if part of) this version be Ashes 2.0 and have separate streamcounts, than the one released last year?

I doubt the Ashes streams before the album release would count for chart purposes. But the streams after album release would count...

Back in mid 2016, Celine and her team announced the song as the first (but not lead) single from her upcoming English album. They didn't mention this when other songs such as The Show Must Go On, How Does A Moment Last Forever or Ashes came out.

 

I think that because of what the song means to Celine and for the reason explained above, Recovering still should be part of the upcoming English album.

Well, honestly.. we all know "The Show Must Go On" and "Recovering" have a very special meaning for Celine 😘 so, I think those two should be at least on the Deluxe edition of this new album 😉

Don't know why but I feel "Ashes" is gonna be the album opener... 😇
