So good to have a pro shot 100% live mhwgo. Crazy to think the last full length one we had was world children's day. Almost doesn't even seem possible. Well actually was larry king after world children's day? I know his was 9/11/02.

 

And i got to say the ending is one of her best ever. Anyone disagree?

Wow!! What a cool event!! I have to say she looked absolutely amazing. I loved her hair in the ponytail and I loved the outfit. Very sassy. How awesome she sang a couple songs too! I am so glad she did MHWGO live again! She nailed it! The ending was amazing. She seemed like she was trying to keep the nasality down. Same with Ashes, the beginning ad lib was amazing! She's still definitely sounding nasal though, especially on anything with an O vowel (more, door, do, broken, you, go). She needs a couple years off. Don't get me wrong, I love the tour announcement and I'll absolutely be going, but ending Vegas and going on a huge world tour again, that's pretty intense. The new song snippet sounded incredible though, maybe she just needs a few weeks or something, who knows. Definitely excited about everything coming up, we've all been parched waiting for new stuff! We're all about to be satiated finally!

She has more of a break than ever really. Even longer than andlilv to tcwt. Her last 3 tours she was in Vegas like june 9th and europe the very next week.

See! So much better with regular bands instead ot orchestra band. It’s sounded more energetic. And there is bass OMG!

 

Btw, she looks amazing in that black dress. And the sounds... sounds from a big prod. Finally, they’re back again!

Well I think they choose the questions long before the show, I don't think they were random and the FB ones were "harmelss" as well

Imagine in these kinds of press realeses someone asking "What do you think about the Micheal Jackson allegations" You know what I mean...they have to make it all peachy and "PG rated" they can't have a rogue question...

Still they were boring as hell...they had the chance to do real deep question about her new projects with the tour/album and they went and sung happy birthday,,,,SMH

 

I was literally sitting next to the woman asking the Facebook questions and I can guarantee Celine didn’t choose those questions. It was a woman from her team reading them aloud and she was the same woman outside filming all of us waiting in line with her phone. Her and this other woman were scrambling looking through questions on a laptop while standing at the microphone. They chose those damn questions

I couldn't be happier! I woke up and read all these thrilling news!! A new world tour called 'Courage', a new snippet (I hope it will be the first single), an amazing version of MHWGO, a very energetic and passionate Celine on stage! I couldn't ask more! Or wait.... I will ask:

Loved the event and loved Celine's look! Those unexpected ad-libs at the beginning of Ashes ...

Did anybody film the full event including the part that wasn't shown on Facebook? I would love to watch the full thing.

She did an amazing job. Once again it's just so pleasant to see the new Celine: Singing finally live again, being so anthusiastic and creative. Words that we can finally attached to her since 3 years.

 

Yes some people just announce a word Tour on Insta and that's it. But the girl just comes with a small and pro concept to present it: A full, funny and pro video to introduce the new project, 3 songs live and some time to discuss with fan and keep us inform about what's next.

 

All that was pro, well executed, creative and modern. She almost sounds like she is just starting her career now. So refreshing to see her finnally so invest and in love with what she does, she's singing live again with so much confidence. That's crazy.

 

Some other coments:

 

- Her voice was a bit weird, we can feel that her tone was good, her nazality more controled, her strengh quite good but she was so wavering at time.

 

- I liked the new song that I heard, for sure it is from Sia and Guetta. Yes it will look a bit forced, she will be a bit mocked for that, pretending to be current etc... But we need it. She is way more than that but she is just commercially a f****** pop singer. At one point she just needs a freaking good pop anthem song. Celine never managed to have a very good pop, dance number, it's now or never, it's time for it. I mean, let's do it. I will embrace it, I'm ready for it. I don't think the we will see with this album a critical applause though, not yet, but if we can have her first real modern pop album it will be fine. When this chapter ends I hope to see a new chapter full of jazz and experimentations.

 

- I absolutly don't like when she says: It's still me don't worry, I'm just freshen things up. Well from Celine I'm afraid it means: You will have

a I Surrender, next to a Guetta song next to a jazz song. Just to please the masses. That's what A New day has come is and I hate it. At least the songs should be better and we could have for the first time true modern poppy / dance songs.

Do not understand me badly for what I write, I loved the event, the video the small show, but what I wanted to understand is that to advertise a tour it would be necessary to spend all this money, renting space and so many things.

 

The video is very good, very well produced, a question, will they use this video in the tour shows? If you do not use it, I did not see the need to spend doing it.

She could hold a press conference, go on a few shows and announce the tour, spend less, air out to make that kind of wind after she finished her shows in Vegas and on the same day released her new music and video clip.

 

More do not misunderstand me, I loved it all, I was excited, I followed Facebook.

 

Just a curiosity, I noticed that facebook views decreased after she stopped singing, did most of the fans did not follow through facebook.

I disagree. I think that missing the horn and the strings made it sound a bit "empty" Like it needed something to make the music fuller. I can't describe it.

I hope the whole orchestra goes on tour with her.

The orchestra arrangments sounds boring for me. It needs to be more alive. More pop like sounding. More electric guitar. Louder like in TCWT.

And to be fair, with the time zone thing, it's not easy to make people watch at the same time. In my place it's 5 am in Thursday, not a perfect time to watch, my friend who live in the same country but different city have to wake up at 4 am to watch it. Many of my fellow Celine fans missed the live because they couldn't wake up at that time.
