Also, it was known that only the North American leg would be announced today. They're not going to announce any European dates when they have to make a fuss over BTS as well.

That new song sounds like such a summer song. It would be a shame if they wait to release it until Sept/Oct ahead of the new album. Still holding out hope that we’ll hear it on Kimmel or that it will at least be out in time for summer and BST!

I missed the individual FB live videos... can someone recap what happened with the guy asking the tour question and Celine shutting him down???

Honestly production wise everything was perfect. The video is mind-blowing and i think it surpassed everyone's expectations. The new song sounds divine and like a hit already. Celine's performance was amazing. MHWGO was jaw dropping and i'm sure people were expecting the playback to come. I think she surprised everyone. And she was so happy that she did it lol! Ashes beginning was out of this world btw. Really perfection for me.

 

But what on earth were these questions?! How is it possible to get to ask one question and decide to ask if she will bring the dogs on tour?!?! Really?! Or tell her she hasn't tour before and how to raise a child.. in this kind of event.. Some complained about Celine singing randomly during the q&a. Well thank God 'cos those questions weren't going to improve! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole interview anyway but i wish that people would have asked more relevant questions :wacko:

He said something like she hasn't been touring in a long time...and Celine shut him down saying she was on the road doing European tours the last couple of years

I think maybe he meant like in the American market? IDK she sounded a little annoyed and yet she can't remember if the last time she did the US was in 2008 or 1998 hahaha

Well I think they choose the questions long before the show, I don't think they were random and the FB ones were "harmelss" as well

Imagine in these kinds of press realeses someone asking "What do you think about the Micheal Jackson allegations" You know what I mean...they have to make it all peachy and "PG rated" they can't have a rogue question...

Still they were boring as hell...they had the chance to do real deep question about her new projects with the tour/album and they went and sung happy birthday,,,,SMH

To all the complainers - remember they could have just announced this tour via press release!

 

And 48 songs, eh? That may be why some report I saw said yesterday that she "released 5 albums since Rene's death"! They misunderstood her joke! (Think it was the People Live show)

 

Very surprised she's not taking the kids - that's not very Celine-like - but I guess she decided it's better for them to have stability and their friends, etc. Still, a bit sad about that.

 

LOVED the intro video, but HATED the new song snipped. That's the absolute last thing I want to hear from her. So fake. Musicians, not computers, please.

 

Sad about the dearth of Canadian dates, especially out east. Hopefully they'll add more with time.

I don't know... part of me feels like she's trying very hard to be, but like someone said earlier in the week, it may be because she's trying to convince herself as much as everyone else.

Exactly. I said that a couple days ago, it’s almost like she’s trying to convince herself by convincing us that she so happy. I hope she is at her happiest but as a widow mother of 3, it’s hard for me to believe that she’s at her happiest. She may be at peace but I think she has silent struggles anyone would in that position.

 

Anyhow, it’s nice to see her seem at peace and in a good place after 4 rough years.

Nothing new other than a small quote from Celine on the new album....
