A little bit disappointed to be honest. So much hype and it started promising... The new song sounds nice and how excited she seems for the new album is something great to hear. However... They could have snipped something else. Not keeping my hopes to high for Jimmy.

I think she did not give much details because she is waiting for the Vegas shows to end, I believe that after June we will have more information, but I think, because they did not do all this promotion in June, it would be better, now let's wait for her to release a new song in October.

 

They will put more dates in other countries next year, I've been researching the Madison Square Garden, she'll go there because they are full until December.

 

I did not think it was bad, she was beautiful, did a show for free, I waited for new music, but there was not, we can not have everything.

 

I hope she catches us and they do the right things, shoot a video clip.

 

I understand that she's going to run the tour? it is?

Some of you are infuriating - far be it for me to question someone's right to an opinion, but seriously: moronic posts galore.

 

A let down? Child please - you were promised nothing. There were no real details, if you are disappointed: that's on YOU.

 

Lack of details? Child please - you got the album title, a couple of song titles, insight into how many songs she's recorded, confirmation of the tour dates, the full list of North American tour dates and you got to watch the event live streamed from the comfort of your homes.

 

Only North American dates confirmed? Well duh! What are you expecting at this stage, the whole GOD DAMN tour to be confirmed? 16-18 months out?

 

Some of y'all need a reality check.

To me it sounds like this tour is gonna be energetic and Dancy all the way. This song sounds so club hope it will not be butchered live like FA and AOL

I think it was awesome that she did this for the fans. Like I’d already thought the album is still a while away so this was all about the tour. It’s a big deal to her and North America cos it’s been so long since she’s been able to tour in these parts. Other parts of the world have done alright over the last few years. So give her time more dates will be announced.

 

I think we need to give her credit for at least wanting to present the new tour in this way. She’s put the work in with the video at the beginning etc and made the effort organising the whole thing so let’s give her and her team some credit. When has she ever done anything like this before? As for cutting the feed, there was literally around 10k watching so really don’t blame them. WHERE THE HELL WAS EVERYONE LOL???!!!

That new song sounds like such a summer song. It would be a shame if they wait to release it until Sept/Oct ahead of the new album. Still holding out hope that we’ll hear it on Kimmel or that it will at least be out in time for summer and BST!

 

I've always wondered about the single choices from her albums, it was almost like post MHWGO they didn't want another really big hit. There are some incredible songs on the albums since LTAL that would have been massive if released and marketed properly, so i'm not holding out much hope for a summer anthem!

I mean i’m glad overall, the more Celine the better for damn sure.

 

But just from a management perspective..??? This semi blows my mind. What I suspect is this was meant to line up with a song release on itunes or something, plus coincide with a talk show.. but somewhere along the way parts moved. Maybe Corden/vegas/bellagio boat was too good an opportunity, and that pegged that event in May (since it’s not being done in Vegas just for her). And they probably already made commitments with the venues/ticketmaster to sell tix in April.

 

Oh well. Classic case of insufficient slack in an organization. At least it’s clear they’re trying hella hard! And did good with what we diD get to see. Great vid, script, clothes, tone.. As an academic, I understand.

 

BUT AS A FAN...

Well...that was such a waste of a good PR moment...crappy questions, she sung half the interview...NO NEW SONGS and barely talkes about the tour/album

You're damn right. I love her truely and very rarely critize anything she does, but this was really lame. The mayority of her viewers are fans who are waiting desperately for truely news and mainly new songs. OK, I can listen million times to her 17 to 20 year old songs, but when pushing such an event and then presenting not really new news is very lame!!!! Sorry, Céline!!!! A little disappointing.

I cant believe people are complaining right now. I am so psyched! This event was great, we have a WORLD TOUR, we got a clip of a new song,we have the album title.... everything else will come in time. Enjoy the moment!

 

 

And you realize if the RH hadn't spoiled everything for us yesterday we all would be peeing our pants right now, right?
