The wedding surprise was quite nice, it's the first time she did something like this and besides that, it's the first time that she sang BYLM live since 2016.

 

The interview was fine but c'mon Celine, the singing-as-answer is getting too far... Really liked her outfit.

 

As for the song choice, I guess it makes sense that she went for Ashes. First TV performance of her latest English single is always welcome. I'm so glad that she keeps doing those ad-libs at the beginning and the outfit was extravagant but cool for me.

It was nice! She was loose yet on point. I liked her singing answers here, she was confindent, jocking, and they both have good chemistry. She looked beaautiful!

 

However, I didn't like Ashes outfit... The top might look expensive, but the bottom looked so cheap to me. And she could barely move her arms. Regarding the voice, I don't like when she closes her through on the "ous" sounds, it sound like grandma sometimes. I don't know if she believes this is nice, but to me it isn't pleasant.

The intro adlibs are insane. So pure and crystal clear. Great addition to the song. :wub:

 

Good performance. The best so far I have seen.

 

But it seems to me that she sounds always very nasally during live performance of this song. Contrary to the studio version which was perfect.

 

Oh and the dress so classy and diva-esque.

She's performing 'Ashes' everywhere now, while she should've done it last year when the movie came out.

She's promoting (kinda) her world tour and announced the new album.... why not perform a new song.... I don't care if it's not a real single, or if it's a ballad or one of the uptempo songs performed acoustically.. she should be doing something NEW to get people hyped up even more.

i think for new song the main problem would be her record label, probably don't want her to sing new song yet

Not that she's not classy anymore, it's just that lately, with the singing-during-interviews habitude etc, she has become funnier than classy in certain interviews

That performance was outstanding, she was awesome! Very happy about it! Her outfit was atrocious though, that giant shower puff she was wearing was absurd, but she liked great other than that!

This was one of Ashes's best performances, her voice was strong, but we have to get used to Celine's voice changing, she's not as crystal clear as before, that's fact, she has a different, strong tone, I like it.

 

The clothes were fine and once again the coke in her hair.

 

I may be judging, but I hope that the first single is not Couraje, this song seems to be a piano ballad just like Recovering.

The first outfit was wonderful, playful, youthful. LOVED It! It reminds me of the backdrop screen they have running when she's singing MHWGO.

The Ashes outfit, well..... Sometimes I wish she would just reign in her enthusiasm for haute couture but it is who she is so I'll just have to deal with it.

Sorry, but her voice is changing. This is her voice now and that’s reality. And it will not go back to a thicker and fuller voice like she used to. And the sound of her voice will just get thinner as she age.

 

Her voice changed so fast since Rene got sick especially when he died.. her voice is like damaged. It got thinner when belting and doing the high notes compared to Aug 2015.

 

I don’t know if stem cell injections will help. It reverses aging so.... it may also repair your vocals too.. vocal folds. lol

I can't get over how beautiful she looked! So gorgeous and sexy with her hair up like that!

 

And I love how confident she is. Really interesting to hear how much of an "ugly duckling" complex she had as a teen and young woman - but I think Rene kept telling her she can do anything and really imbued her with such innate confidence through the years. It's really such a transformation.
