Since no new single was released today, I’m doubtful that there will be new music tonight. From what she said at the special event, it sounds as if they haven’t even decided what songs are going to be on the album yet let alone start choosing singles.

I think she should’ve waited to announce all of this til June, but they wanted to start this tour in September so they had to announce it. And it’s hard not to announce the album when the tour is named after it.

A part of me never "trusted" Celine with dates, she is not very good at PR stunts, so I'm hoping the single would be realesed WAY earlier (Carpool, or UK concerts)

True, but she can’t tease a few seconds of a new song in a video, then mention it in the press conference and not perform it on a talk show a few days later when she’s closing the show.

 

What’s the point in closing the show with an old song when she has a new album coming, it would just be silly... I’d rather she just don’t sing if that’s the case ( not being horrible ) unless it’s a funny sketch!

 

But!!!

I will be pissed if she sings Ashes... that ship has sailed and at that time, she & her team couldn’t have been arsed to promote it, so don’t embarrass yourselves by singing that one!

 

Surprise us and sing a rare song atleast!!!

I think the show tonight is more about the TOUR rather than the album we will see more of her by the end of the year as well...so doing Ashes or another old song is not so "crazy" she will tease about the album, but this is about the tour, maybe L'orea, maybe the clothing like and so on...

 

Maybe they started the promotion WAY to early?
