Celine's career and status kinda "justifies" those prices alone.

 

The type of show and production she does, doesn't.

 

The condition of her voice in most of her shows nowadays, doesn't either. I would gladly pay with my eyes closed $200 if she had the voice of 2002 and did an antitour show like the Olympia days, but of course it ain't gonna happen.

 

I'll leave it there...

 

I wouldnt call an olympia show “an anti show” she included many covers and had mostly only big hits which... is what you complain about.. right?

 

 

And btw, her vocal condition is PERFECTLY fine for a woman of 51 years old

Nobody forces you to go to her shows, then that seat will be free for someone that really enjoys her voice...

 

Celine's voice in her worst day is still better than any current pop start, I'll leave there...

She performed almost the entire Dion Chante Plamondon album on that show, which for the standards she was used to following when promoting her albums, that was quite rare.

I am SO happy right now. Just scored a great ticket to the show in Albany, NY. For row 7 floor seats, and found it for only $307. Crazy thing is the seats right next to it are about $200 more so I'm feeling very lucky right now

 

Now I just need one for the Baltimore show, and hopefully save up for a trip to Europe because I really want to make it to a French show.

I got pretty good seats for Albany too, so excited for that show. It was like $25 less per ticket than the show in Newark NJ, which I'm also going to.

Not since the unison tour prior to that, and two out of the three songs you mentioned also received promo performances outside of the tour which is neat.

In the early TCWT shows she was doing TC,EOM, Alone ,FA,SOL,CFTF,ML and TJTWIM. Thats 8 brand new songs, and infact, add on AWTBI in Japan and thats 9. Considering she was doing 6-9 songs from an album on an ENGLISH show where she normally just stocks up on covers and greatest hits... thats impressive

I have to say my absolute favorite part about taylor swift is when she released her new album she sang ALL SIXTEEN songs in her tour. All 16. Every show. I bet her fans loved that.

 

Lady gaga is very similar in this instance.

 

I like it when an artist fully invests into the era the album is promoting. Pink is kinda like celine in the sense she will sing a couple songs but her show is too much greatest hits.

There was a billboard article today which really ticked me off about how veteran artists such as over the age of 30, should only sing Max 3 songs from their album and stick to greatest hits... really annoyed me

I never take offense with you, I quite enjoy pointing out your inconsistencies. It must be hard living with that constant anxiety of liking an artist but at the same time having the need to constantly bringing that artist down any chance you have. But we love you like that : )

They should totally work perhaps a shortened Lost on You dance interlude into the tour! Celine could run back for a quick change and if there’s dancers they could dance while Dawn and Elise sing the song. Celine could walk out on the end dancing to the song... I just had this thought and she obviously has done a ballet routine to the song.

It's basically standard to perform 6-8 new songs from a new album when doing a tour for that new album.

 

Anything less or more than that can be considered as "unusual" (or special).

I believe you have to personally select it, because the price is also higher than a normal ticket.

6 out of 12 songs is not enough. Its about what celine does. I had pit ticket last time she was here. It was incredible to be that close. The beautiful trauma album was spectacular. I wanted much more than that.
