Courage World Tour - EU shows CANCELED

Does anybody have any tips for getting multiple show tickets? Should I just do one show right after another, type of thing - log in, get tickets for one show, then log in again and get tickets for next show.. I’m doing like 4 shows! Haha

I feel like this has a lot of random little places on the route, but only one stop (or nil!) in some major cities. Odd. Hope they add more dates with demand.

(Although, this is already a massive North American tour as it is!)

I think part of it is based on places that are easy to fly to or from to be with the kids. At first, I was like, “Why the heck is she going to Albany and Buffalo in December? I thought she liked warm weather!” — But then she said they’ll be based for 3 months in Montreal. She’s probably starting there in September when doing the Montreal shows and then staying through Christmas so she can do Christmas with family. And Albany, Buffalo, etc are probably very quick flights back to Montreal.

I do think (hope) she’s going to add more dates in some cities.

The staging does look amazing and is confirmed with the 2 catwalks into the audience :

https://www1.ticketmaster.com/celine-dion-courage-world-tour/event/3A00567CF3E8911A?fg=default_list_minimap&ab=efeat7213

The link says the seating chart reflects the general setup of the venue and won’t necessarily be applicable for that show. The links for some of the other venues don’t have the catwalks.

I'm surprised they haven't really distributed the promo / intro video widely (yet?)

It's not on her social media / in the press, for the most part.

Shame, because it's lit!

Theres no way that a general chart would have catwalks not to mention it applies to many of the venues not just one.

And the actual phrasing makes me think its relating to seating arrangements not the stage itself

I still buy them from ticketmaster, with maybe one exception ill get to in a bit.

Monitoring the other shows closely day by day checking and seeing what gets released and when.

When tickets go on sale, only a small fraction of the 20,000 seats are released. TM does this for a variety of reasons. The initial blocks of seats they'll sell on opening sale day is not the best seats, but they know on general sale day they'll sell the most.

The main thing i save money on buy waiting til the end is i ensure i am paying face value. Ticketmaster has this thing called platinum seating which prices tickets by demand. It's there way of saying. "The artist wants 200, but since this is a hot item we will tag on 300 additional." Sadly this is a total scam and it is most frustrating of all.

It's also possible that waiting will allow certain seats that were VIP to be sold as a standard ticket.

As for the team celine pre-sale, there may or may not be amazing selection seat wise...but there is likely going to be seats available there that otherwise on the general sale will be classified as "platinum"

When the tickets do go on sale, im going to buy in the presale the cleveland and columbus shows because they are like the 2nd and 3rd US shows. That way i can SOMEWHAT play this "game" with a slight bit of ease for the first two shows. I've decided one of these ill splurge on a VIP to have the merch crap for one, and the other ill probably buy generic seats.

The other shows i plan on attending i will wait for tickets that are held hostage by ticketmasters platinum crap to be released back to face value.

For my own show indianapolis, i am considering going directly to the venue box office on friday to check things out. I do know that buying a ticket this way it is approximately 30 bucks cheaper as the fees ticketmaster tacks on for processing are ELIMINATED when buying direct from the box office. Naturally, I'm most excited to see if the venue box office obtains a selection of seats at face value or if they play along to Ticketmaster's deceptive platinum ways too.

It's a total game!!! Hope this helps :)

This is really helpful, I really appreciate it! I'm just going to see what happens and hopefully make it to at least a few shows... I'm for sure going to Minneapolis and Charlotte (my sister lives in Asheville so I'm going to fly in to Charlotte and go to the show with her there). So exciting!!!!

Wasn't this a reject from "Celine Dion" and used as refill song for different CD's?

I like the song, but I see the album going on the One Heart direction (with songs like Sorry for love) I hope Im wrong!

LISTEN TO NEW SONG"Flying On My Own" ON REPEAT!!!

Wow, since the first shows of this tour will be mostly Francophone, here's hoping to hear more songs from D'elles live!

She truly loves that album but has only performed two songs from it so far...

“A cause” would sound perfect next to “Flying On My Own!”

Sooo when exactly do they plan on revealing ticket prices and VIP packages info?

I would guess so. If we assume that the average capacity of an arena is 11,000 seats, it brings us to 605,000 copies if we mutilple 55 dates by 11,000. I believe we'll be at the end closer to 70 dates, which represent 770,000 copies. That would represent the biggest opening week of the year (and obviously a n.1 album on the Billboard 200). All that is subject to Billboard not changing their rules until then.

It’s not a copy per ticket. It’s a copy per order. So if you order 3 tickets at one time, you still only get one CD.

Of course she is having a big production now, of course she is not bringing the Vegas show to a 1 or 1.5 year tour. She did it for a 5 weeks tour but not for one that will probably end up with 150 dates. I hope it is clear now that for a mini tour of 20 dates is not worth a big production investment...

And honestly, I don’t think that 2016, 2017 was Vegas on wheels. And 2018 was a tour set that was brought to Vegas. Not the other way around.

Are you going by yourself? I have two other people I’m going with, so this method of purchase would probably not work for me if I want to get 3 seats together.

Easy. Lazy. Boring. Snooze fest. Don't hold yourself Celine... :giggle:

Even the press is wondering by now if she's going to offer the same boring show of Vegas for the billionth time again while on doing a tour :whistling: The ultimate sign that everyone is bored of that show already and they're asking for NEW things to come!

So she goes on 3 mini tours, 2 of which were excellent and fresh and yet she only does “Vegas for the billionth time on tour”

Ticketmaster is so deceptive that you can literally hit refresh and one minute it will show 2 seats available, the next 3 seats available (meaning it would allow me to buy 1 ticket on the 3, thus leaving 2). If there is only 2 available it usually does not allow a single seat to be left.

Sometimes when they release a block of tickets on the day of the show it is an entire row of tickets, like 12 or 20, thus allowing multiple options and ease.(this is more common on a section not on the floor per se).

Other times last minute tickets released may only be a couple of seats (which is more common up front where vip packages/platinum didn't sell).

Those tours hadn't any production at all. She brought the same concept of Vegas to the road = the band members and the orchestra. Easy!!

She only had to rehearse some songs she hadn't performed before (what a hard endeavour for a singer!). That's only one small step and par for the course in the huge productions of other singers who do this tour after tour to offer a new show to their fans ;)

Shes a singer. Her job with a show is not to present a show like GaGa or Madonna. Her job is to sing. She did her job and youre annoyed about it... what was it you called the 2016 tour? Something along the lines of the best (or one of) the best shows shes ever done.

And I dont understand how having band members and an orchestra, singing her material, an exclusive Vegas concept

Well isn't that what she indirectly said herself.

Now she is creating a whole new show. It's not gonna be Vegas. If it was just a tour for month it would be different.

We will have a new production for sure!
