Courage World Tour - EU shows CANCELED

It would have been great to have seen her at Wembley Stadium, but having seen another concert there and having seen Celine now twice outdoors, I’d rather see her in an arena.

The reasons are the sound quality is way better and clearer in an arena, they can create a better experience with visuals and lights in an arena, and the atmosphere it just better and feels more intimate than in a stadium.

Lebanon deserves a bilingual show, since the french language is quite present there, but I'm pretty sure they'll get the english one, alas.

Anyone know when tickets go on sale for the second leg of the North American tour? April 2020 show dates? Pre-sale?

I was at one of the shows in Lille. It was great: despite being a big place, it fell intimate (and the prices were lowered than in Paris :-D )

But somehow I doubt. It is a world tour and if she plays in both Belgium and the biggest French/European arena in Paris, then it does not leave much room for a show in Lille, squeezed between the two. But maybe in France she will add other dates in the southern part: Bordeaux, Marseille or Nice (or Lyon: if she is not performing in Geneva but Zurich).

Yeah I am hoping for somewhere random in France where I don't usually go. I mean I love Paris, but it 's good to mix things up a bit and I enjoyed going to Lyon for the first time in 2017.

If the presale does start on Friday though, I will be sitting in my hotel room in Montreal having seen Celine the night before, buying my tickets for next year!

Re-scheduled for when she should be promoting the album, that week will have been crucial. Hope she recovers quickly. It’s better the cancel shows now and recover properly, rather than soldier on and do more damage to the voice...ultimately leading to more cancellations.

Gutted. As I thought seeing her early in the tour would be fine!

I had a feeling something was up. Glad she's doing what she needs to! Hope she feels better soon and gets back to her usual self. I could tell she must have really been struggling compared to how she normally sounds.

This isn’t a good omen. Eeeks. Selfishly I hope that cancelling the shows is a ruse to gut the show and turn it into something special.

Oh well, maybe this explains her less than stellar vocals at the début.

it explains why she cut a song and why she wasn't at her best. Not because she doesn't train her voice or that she doesn't care . Some people should be ashamed.

I think it's cornwall it's like the big billboard right as your heading onto the bridge. The big billboard is on your left.

Where did this come from? The evening website is still advertising tickets and I haven't had an email.

Celine's team just announced it. Probably hasn't even had a chance for the venue to send anything yet.

First the promoter, and then every local news outlet.

There will still be plenty of promotion for the new album. :)

I hope she has a speedy recovery over this next week and comes back stronger than ever!

Glad they were able to reschedule the shows. And hopefully this is an indication to Celine & her team that she is not as young as she once was and she must put her health first as she continues on with this tour.

Just a small bump in the road!

*raises hand*

Thankfully I'm only here from New York, so not too far away. And Montreal is always a good trip. But still, sad.

And it doesn't bode well. Did she bite off more than she can chew with this tour schedule? I'm sure the constant flying back and forth to see the kids doesn't help. It must all be so stressful for her. I don't know how she handles it.

Yeah me too, have come over from the UK for the show. I can't come back for 18 November. So glad I went to Hyde Park in July!

Don't forget that the Montreal shows on Oct. 4 and 5 are still on.

Well it's September in Quebec... weather gets cooler, and viruses spread. Not easy when you meet and kiss so many people!

I would wear a mask if I were her!
