I normally don't care for opening acts. Glad there isn't one, but with the show being slightly on the shorter side it does make for a quick evening.

 

What time is a good time to arrive to get through security and be there before she starts to perform? Thanks!

I'm listening to Céline's version of 'Let's Dance' again and I kinda...love it?. Her version is pretty sexy actually. Now I want to hear this on a good voice day.

Actually regarding the medley, the choices make sense:

- David Bowie

- Queen

- Prince

3 singers who have inspired her. It's a hommage, especially as two of those 3 legends died in the recent years. :cry:

 

She is a singer's songs and, like René, an artist's fan :)

She should scrap rdmh completely and replace with an aretha cover to complete...flying on my own in its own spot.

Agree, after watching a few videos of the medley and taking into account Celine's love for covers, I can say I enjoy half of it.

I like the way she sings Let's Daance :naughty: , Another one bites the dust also sounds good and I guess bass guitarist is quite happy to play those riffs. And I somehow really like the transition to FOMO. However, next three songs - don't care much

The Colombia date was never "official." It was originally posted by BandsInTown which doesn't always provide accurate information, and Colombia's website is synced with BandsInTown. However, I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up doing upwards of 4 shows pushing through the following week. Edited by brendanm999

That's something minor I know, but now I saw in one known Israeli FB page

a snap from Celine's facebook with the "Tel aviv show"

so after all, her team did take it down from her FB account :mellow:

 

Glad for the people in French the dates start to come out.

If she ends up doing more than 3 or 4 shows in a venue with a concert capacity of 40,000..... that will be HUGE

It says Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Yarkon Park. I guess we will find out soon if it's real.

Actually this information was confirmed on all Israeli important media sites

+ ticket sells will start in 2 october

But since that they once said it's a standing show, now a sitting show

changed the dates before... I'm ready for any changes to take place when it has to do with her show

Was watching Quebecois TV last night and stumbled on this art & culture criticism show and they did an entire segment on the Courage premiere.

Overall quite complimentary, and definitely much more so that it would have been 2 decades ago. In fact, a high-brow cultural magazine like this would probably not even touch her with a 10 foot pole 2 decades ago...

Oh, how times have changed. It's so nice to see her have the last laugh with some of these outlets that are now all trying to get a moment with her. :-D

Well she also might take a break after the US leg before starting EMEA

Exactly, and without changing much. At least on her core self: the same humble, kind, goofy person.

It is mainly the perception which changed.

Well, this helps me know how to plan my summer with the first Paris date out there. Anyone else going to be there?

I’m hoping she plays Lille again.

 

I was at one of the shows in Lille. It was great: despite being a big place, it fell intimate (and the prices were lowered than in Paris :-D )

 

But somehow I doubt. It is a world tour and if she plays in both Belgium and the biggest French/European arena in Paris, then it does not leave much room for a show in Lille, squeezed between the two. But maybe in France she will add other dates in the southern part: Bordeaux, Marseille or Nice (or Lyon: if she is not performing in Geneva but Zurich).

I guess she will do stadiums mostly in Francophone European territories, as well as in some non-anglo European territories like Sweden, Switzerland, Maybe Copenhagen she’ll do Parken again. However, i was genuinely surprised she didnt do more stadiums across Europe, imo she could do it easily, less shows and less vocal stress too Edited by AdrienneM
