LOL "spammers" - you work a campaign and tell me your efforts to spread awareness. It was one post, in a "random news" thread, I would hardly consider that "spam". It wasn’t one post in one thread. It was posted in other threads as well. And it’s not the first time a user has posted the same post in multiple threads about this same subject. WHEN THAT SUBJECT HAS ITS OWN THREAD! You people…I hope you get your 3 tracks and the rest of us can stop hearing about it.

Lossless quality is now available in Apple Music. Check it out! Maybe for the next album of Céline we will have the Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. For now, Lossless Quality. Other singers Like Taylor, Ariana… have this feature already. I guess their producers were already informed a head of time that Apple will release spatial audio with Dolby Atmos.

 

Listening to courage song again with this lossless quality. It sounds amazing like the sound is more solid and the bass is definitely improved

listening to Taylor’s album with Dolby Atmos. It’s sounds amazing like the instrumentals are around you and her voice.. she’s like singing in front of you. I guess this feature will be also great in live albums

 

Céline release your next album with this features please. Tell your producers/audio engineers :)

I saw a major Celine uploader on Youtube say that they have 50 or so Celine performances in better quality than on Youtube, and another 100 or so things from Celine from 1982 - 2000 on Betatapes that need to be converted. But they refuse to release them because of various reasons....which is a huge shame. I wish people didn't see Celine content as a competition and just shared so all fans and the world could enjoy her talent.

Celine is one of the signatories to a petition to amend Canadian copyright laws.

It's essentially asking for rights reversion after 25 years post release, rather than 25 years after death of author. Similar to the US change, where artists now have rights of reversion after 35 years.

 

Interesting to see how this plays out, since the regulations are often the impetus labels need to work the catalog. If it's coming up for expiry, they'll strategize box sets and re-releases and special editions, etc, in an effort for the artist not to exercise their reversion right at the 35 year mark.

I've seen it in action with a number of legendary artists. I suspect around the time Celine's early records start approaching the 35-year anniversary, we'll start seeing a lot of re-release from Sony for this very reason.

This has nothing to do really with her music videos but more with her actual albums and songs or am I wrong?

I think the main issue with her missing music videos is that they include scenes from the films and Sony would have to pay for the rights to upload them. I think Celine`s official youtube channel also belongs to Sony right?

Maybe she is selling it, because she will fly with a new one offered to her by Resorts World from now on. Didn't she have a Cesars Palace jet as well when she was contracted with them? (I think it was even shown in the 2011 3BAANS documentary) OR (worst case scenario): she won't be doing mini tours any more, because she will only be in Vegas (I hope not!) Edited by ryba

For the limiting travel due to COVID over the next however many months/years....might just be a lot cheaper to rent a private jet when she needs it. Who knows!
