Seems I’m not the only one with this opinion. Here’s hoping we’re right!

The ad is getting a lot of press. This is just one reaction, but I’ve seen many.

I think within the last 2 years, IACBTMN... has taken a life of its own. It’s always been a Celine classic but in recent time, it seems to have gone right up there with MHWGO, somewhat surpassing others like TPOL, ABM & BYLM as the most revere English Celine song.

I hope Celine will sing it in full in her new Vegas show and make it a huge moment.

Maybe the Super Bowl should think about Celine too next year. :D

I feel like it may be her best song of her big hits. It has the biggest mass appeal I think too.

Definitely. The lyrics of IACBTMN are melodramatic, but somewhat relatable. Musically & vocally, it’s right up there with epics like Bohemian Rhapsody, and there aren’t a lot of popular songs in their league.

By contrast, TPOL and MHWGO are melodramatic, cheesy and rather shallow (at least to native English speakers) and the music is reaaaally cheesy and predictable (lame keyboards, guitar licks, etc.). Plus no one ever says conversationally, “oh, well, my heart will go on” but quite frequently we say “it’s all coming back to me...”

BYLM is pretty flawless too, but it's very textbook pop whereas IACBTMN is a bit more interesting musically speaking.

But I'm always interested in why some of Celine's songs get labelled cheesy and other artists' love songs don't? I think TPOL and, a little bit to a lesser extent, MHWGO are great songs. I think part of their cheesiness comes from the fact that we don't take them as seriously because we've heard them so much.

Interesting to read this now because the past few days I listened to some orchestral versions of MHWGO and kind of fell in love with the song again. We listen to it so often and in the same arrangement and placement in live shows (not to mention the thousands of covers) that we’ve become desensitized to it but it really is a beautiful song.

I love TPOL as well.

I think certain versions she's done over the years have given it new life. But yes, you become desensitized to it after listening so much.

Off topic I know but can anyone explain the posts with "delete" in them. It's confusing to read them and if it's not an error but an actual written post I find them quite unnecessary

It's impossible to delete on this forum. Therefore, when someone wants to delete, she/he edits the post and writes "delete".

It would be nicer if people would write something else instead of just "delete!" :P

wow, looks like beautiful Edyta got inspired by Celines IACBTMN video! I can definitely see a Celine touch in this song. I think Edyta worked with some of Celines writers or producers on this one. It was the time when she was going for an international career, just like Celine. She is sort of Polands Lara Fabian haha Edited by ryba

I was thinking the exact same thing about that music video! Empty castles really do make good music videos

And ding ding ding! I only brought up these songs because they were done by the songwriter of "Where Does My Heart Beat Now", and these are the biggest female artists/songs besides WDMHBN that they did

Why does Celine's channel gets more and more cheaper? First music videos like have you ever been in love and think twice gets down from hd to 480p and now the audio videos from the courage album. Will this happen to all of her songs/videos? A singer with Celine's status shouldn't be represented by such a cheap looking "official" channel.

Note: I noticed that by many other artists too, so it's not a "Team Celine - thing". I wonder what's going on with youtube :hmm:

Cute speech! Not very natural but still very cute.

Now we know what else she recorded the day of her tour announcement earlier this week. ;)

She's never been totally natural in her speeches. I think she's not very comfortable getting honoured, she's spoken about it before
