Actually not that one! I hadn't seen that one though... it's fun!

 

I do think it's an adlib during RDMH though. Now I'm questioning if it was 2017... ugh I hope somebody knows what I'm talking about! I'm going crazy trying to figure it out!

 

ETA: I think it was 2016!!!! Anyone??

Does Celine wear contacts?

 

In the second clip she says she wears glasses because she's near and far sighted. I can't tell if she's just making a joke or being totally truthful.

We've seen her wear glasses in some rare pictures but I didn't consider if she might need them all the time. I've never seen her putting in contacts or mentioning using contacts.

I'm looking for a performance from the 2017 tour... I can't remember if it was LCMM or RDMH... but she adlibbed a phrase or two from another song into it. I can't remember the song and it's driving me bonkers! Anybody know what I'm talking about?

I'd have to look through YouTube but I remember vaguely she incorporated part of Zora Sourit into the MJ medley...something to that effect. It was pretty cool to see that incorporated, even if it was only a line or two.

 

EDIT: I take it back....she incorporated MJ into Zora lol

I wonder how Celine feels about her French material from the mid to late 80s and early 90s. Whenever I watch performances from those years in French, that is where she seemed the most passionate, engaged, and emotional. But she shied away form dusting those songs off in concerts for yeaaars.....and a few times when TV shows would have her react to old footage, she seemed not very pleased or laughed it off.

 

That's the downside to Vegas, she gets pretty much sucked into the Anglophone world for years. I would die to hear her sing "Comme Un Coeur Froid" these days for example....imagine all the experience and emotion of all the years she has lived that she could put back into those songs!

I wonder how things would have developed for other artists if Celine was not so open about her story and how she achieved success. She pretty much revealed all the secrets how she became a star, and others applied her formula very successfully (not only Francophone artists, but artists worldwide).

This seems a bit rude and unnecessary. There are 60+ people part of the campaign, not 8. Live and let live. If it so offends you, just scroll on.

There is a reason why they have a bitter, sour citrus as their profile picture :giggle: They have said being rude is part of their "brand", as if that's something to boast about. :wtf:

Rude behavior toward a group of people, making major effort to get unreleased material, is well worth my time and attention 😘

'Ce n'était qu'un rêve' was released on June 11th 1981.

So in just 3 days, Céline will celebrate 40 years of career (pretty amazing).

 

Now I hope against hope that she and her team have something special planned for the anniversary. But since they have not mentioned anything at all, we'll be lucky to get a tweet acknowledging it... 😩

Please TC, prove me wrong on this...

It's not always a good marketing move to promote how long someone has been around and how old they are. :P

I wonder what she’d be doing if she didn’t get her big break and wasn’t as lucky.

She could certainly have been a model (or a dancer, as recently witnessed). Something else in the public eye, or at the very least some people-focused profession, given her high EQ. It’s strange to think about “what if”.

LOL "spammers" - you work a campaign and tell me your efforts to spread awareness. It was one post, in a "random news" thread, I would hardly consider that "spam". Have you been designated official police of the forum? Sounds more like you're the Karen of the forum. Thanks for spreading kindness among other fans. We'll be sure to shut up now. Best wishes.
