scielle Posted April 16, 2019 at 12:48 AM Posted April 16, 2019 at 12:48 AM Yes, been watching that video today, too. ... And that NDDP cover art looking very ominous today.... as are some of the lyrics. Flipping through the various NDDP videos today - which I haven't done in a long time - discovered that Josh Groban did a version of Le temps de cathedrales. Who knew. (Though let's be honest... just go and listen to the !) And while on the subject, here's Celine's English version of Vivre: Luc Plamondon & Richard Cocciante truly made great art. (Will Jennings' English translation... not so much...) 1

Popular Post scielle Posted April 17, 2019 at 11:58 AM Popular Post Posted April 17, 2019 at 11:58 AM (edited) So Lady Gaga was named to Time's Most Influential People list, and Celine was asked to write about her! http://time.com/coll...67667/lady-gaga Here's what she wrote: "I love Lady Gaga, and I think she’s got one of the greatest voices in the world: powerful, convincing, passionate and sensitive. She’s definitely one of the most inventive artists we’ve ever seen. Her artistic expression has no rules, no boundaries. When she first came on the scene with her outrageous style, she didn’t care what the critics said. She marched to the beat of her own drum, knowing that her message of individuality was a way to express her inner strength. What makes her even more special, and such a powerful influence on society, is that she empowers her fans to adopt the very same values in their lives—to stand up for what they believe in, despite what others might think. By doing so, she gives her followers the strength and confidence to believe in themselves. Whether it’s her unstoppable support for the LGBTQ community, or her anti-bullying campaigning, Lady Gaga’s voice is being heard where it really counts. Yes, she’s an amazing musician, composer, performer and, as we saw in A Star Is Born, an incredible actress, but her legacy reaches well beyond show business. She will continue to inspire love and freedom around the world, for generations to come." http://time.com/5566...00-2019-covers/ Javascript is not enabled OR refresh the page to viewClick here to view the Tweet Edited April 17, 2019 at 12:09 PM by scielle 8

scielle Posted April 17, 2019 at 06:18 PM Posted April 17, 2019 at 06:18 PM https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2019/04/time-100-list-celebrity-friends-leonardo-dicaprio-jane-goodall "Celine Dion, who toasted Lady Gaga, on the other hand, probably just clutches the younger chanteuse at her elbows and says, “You are everything,” over and over, and then Gaga says it to Dion several times, and then they go back and forth with it. “You are everything.” This lasts about 10 minutes and everyone has enough awe and inspiration to shore us up for another year. The bigger mystery of it all, however, is how Dion sent her kind words to the Time folks. We know she’s handled a large drill, but has she ever written an e-mail? Can you imagine Dion writing an e-mail? I can’t. Dion sitting down and opening the Hotmail account that René had someone make for her sometime in 2007 and hunting and pecking her way through a thoughtful tribute? No, certainly not. She must have dictated it, and it must have sprung fully formed from her head on the first go." 2

maki_Dion-er Posted April 18, 2019 at 07:27 PM Posted April 18, 2019 at 07:27 PM (edited) We've gone from scattered meetings at events, to Celine talking about Gaga during NYE, then Celine goes to Lady Gaga's concert in Vegas, in interview Gaga says Celine outshone her at her own show lol, later sends Celine flowers for her B-day, Celine writes about Gaga.I love this evolution. A slow burn of sorts lol. Next either Gaga needs to go to a Celine concert or include her in her next album somehow. They should and need to collab on something. angelil78 Posted April 19, 2019 at 01:33 PM Posted April 19, 2019 at 01:33 PM I fully expect them to hang out together at the Met Gala. I wish!!! I find Gaga too weird though. I mean I love her, I love her as an artist and I'd pay a lot to see her live. But when ever she does a public appearance, it's like she goes into some mode, like a special role and becomes really distant. I don't know how to explain.. 1

ryba Posted April 19, 2019 at 09:54 PM Posted April 19, 2019 at 09:54 PM (edited) Was Luigi who recently passed away the one who styled Celine in 3 boys and a new show (the scene where he touches her boobs)? By the way, I think that this JLo video series might be well inspired by Celines recent comment „everyone was getting undressed, Jennifer Lopez came and she was naked, I said me too“ I would be really cool if Celine did a video series just like this telling fans different stories from her long time career Edited April 19, 2019 at 09:56 PM by ryba 1

_Margo_ Posted April 20, 2019 at 02:17 AM Posted April 20, 2019 at 02:17 AM Hi everyone, this is the first time I write in here, so I am sorry if this discussion is not pertinent or in the right section.I am Italian and since 15 years I am fighting with the same ear problem that last year forced Celine Dion to interrupt her concerts. It is named Patulous Eustachian tube (PET).Unfortunately this problem is not widely known and especially in Italy there are very few doctors who know it and they offer almost no treatments. A news dated June 2018 states that Celine has been operated and for the moment it seems she has solved her problem.Has anyone more information? Do you know what kind of operation Celine has received and in which hospital? Does anyone know how I could write to her manager or someone else who works with her to get this information? It is increasingly difficult to me manage this problem and I am looking for help. Thanks to anyone who will help me.
