As some of you may have heard, Seth Rogen is the new voice of Vancouver's public transit (you know, they voice that tells you to mind the closing door, etc).

Anyway, this article contemplates what other celebs should voice public transit announcements around the country. They've nominated Leonard Cohen and Celine for Montreal :)

Was watching the new season of Orange is the New Black (s6 ep12) and this character named Badison is talking to a guard and she says "It's all coming back to me now."

 

I don't know if that was an intentional reference to Celine but if it wasn't then it was a fun coincidence.

This is the best pre recorded version of My Heart Will Go On. Actually, during A new day era. It sounds so natural. No auto tune/robotic sound

 

 

 

But it didnt sound like her current voice. It sounded like young, 90s celine. Not like the mature tone we have had since 2003. I mean compare the first verse of TPOL to the playback on the TC tour... its like come on its sooooo obvious as was MHWGO

Well since 1981 I'd say but if you count from the very first time she performed, then that would have been in 1973

They recorded this song before a new day started... maybe that was 2002?

 

I know it didn’t sound like her current voice. I’m talking about how natural her voice is in this pre recorded track than the current one that sounds auto tuned/robotic especially at the end (ooooooooon)

 

And i like the tempo of this one :)

Ah right yes 1998 yes lol, I knew that, typo from me. I lived in Luxembourg/Germany at that time and it was in the papers there.
