What a shame! Queen with Adam Lambert are doing a Vegas residency in September-and Celine is off! Wish she’d see the show, could lead to her teaming up with Brian and Roger. I’ve been dreaming of that for years 😢

 

 

That explains her not being Back in September then. Giving the fact that its queen, it would not surprise me if she went. Considering its going to be time for album promotion, she will have her Montreal time and then probably return to Vegas mid to late September. Id love for a TSMGO duet with Brian and Roger AND Adam

Oh I don’t know which theatre their show is in! But yeah maybe she’ll go if she’s in Vegas but if the album is coming out?.... then who knows where she’ll be or what’s planned for during that time. Hope she goes though

Park Theater at the MGM. Shows on Sept. 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 14, 15, 19, 21, and 22.

The book never came with a CD, this is an unofficial bootleg CD. Would I Know hasn't been officially released yet.

Oh my, yes. I have such a pair. When someone saw this, he/she replied without joking: “Dieter, I didn’t know Celine ever sold orthopedic shoes.”

 

They are quite... hm... spacy looking, hip at the time. Good old times I guess.

Well, I didn't mean that the shoes are ugly, I just meant that Celine mostly wears Highheels and I can't remember having seen her wearing orthopedic looking shoes. That is why I guessed that this advertising was unauthorized. Plus I have never seen that advertisment anywhere else. So I cannot believe that it is really real authorized campaign.

I was reading the news about Demi lovato's heroine addiction and overdose. I don't know how much is true and how much is tabloid. It got me thinking that one of the main reasons that I am such a huge Celine fan is not only her great talent but who she is as a person. As Celine says 'show business is a YES place, you do your gig and go home to your family'. I am very happy and proud that her addiction is her talent and voice, her fans , but most of all her family. I saw this news too in TV this morning and they said that Demi was rushed to the hospital because of cocaine/heroine overdose

Demi is one of the most talented singers in this time imo, it's really sad that she has relapsed. We don't know what she might be going through in her life, emotionally. Celine was/is very fortunate to have an amazing support system, family and friends, and even producers, that helped her to not be trapped by some of the very unfortunate pitfalls that child stars (and even adults) are sometimes faced with and that can ruin their lives and careers. I hope Demi pulls through and is able to get sober again.

But in some interviews she said that she doesn't listen to much music in her time-off, which is mostly the time she drives home from LasVegas. So her snippets-inspirations mainly result of the music, RC listens to - I assume.

Does anyone remember an official live music video for "All By Myself" that was black and white? I remember seeing it on VH1 in regular rotation for the single when it was released. Trying to find it.

 

There was an official live video? I never saw that. I only know the official video, the Christmas version and the unreleased video (with the piano).When did you see that video on VH1?

1996/1997. The US got a live video and not the others.
