scielle Posted December 19, 2015 at 04:40 AM Posted December 19, 2015 at 04:40 AM Apparently technophobe Celine (who allegedly updates her own Instagram) is better at social media than her "team". I mean, she regularly uses hashtags and they don't! #TeenagerInTheHouse 1

Lu CelineFan Posted December 19, 2015 at 06:40 PM Posted December 19, 2015 at 06:40 PM Yeah, I thought it a bit odd, too. She posted that beautiful Instagram, but I was surprised by the lack of any acknowledgement elsewhere (especially in light of today's post re. Eddy Marnay). Exactly! Especially after teh post about Eddy Team Céline Dion Brazil@lu_celinefan
powerofamor17 Posted December 19, 2015 at 06:53 PM Posted December 19, 2015 at 06:53 PM Why do some people expect her to sound or want her to sound like she did in the late 90's- the early 2000's? Unrealistic ideals!Just my thoughts.......It really is strange how people crave that, but subsequently, she sounds very much like late 90s... 98-99. It's actually outstanding that she does, her gruesome schedule up till now, all that performing, and to still maintain that tone and power. It's Amazing!! 1
CelinesDIVO5 Posted December 19, 2015 at 07:11 PM Posted December 19, 2015 at 07:11 PM Well, good thing nobody told 12-year-old Celine! At that point in her career, her parents were in charge of her money because she was underage...at least that's how it would be in the U.S. Either that or it would be drawn up in contract to be put in a trust until the child was 18. But to have a kid do a normal office job or work retail etc. would be illegal. My hash tag was a joke lol, and I know your post was too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

Her sister-in-law told (read: sold)a random (possibly false) story to a tabloid? And Robin Leach reprinted it (adding his own medical expertise and comments that contradict her own statements and statements made by her team and ignores their wishes and focus). I understand a doctor on call, but she talks about taking care of him, and she even said she asks Nelson and Eddy to help feeding. Just seems like trash. That's where it belongs, totally! I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!

québecflower Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:32 AM Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:32 AM (edited) This is true. We all know it was Claudette. Um. cou;ld be someone else of her family .....you have the choice here... you paint Claudette as the blach sheep, i won't tolerate that, Claudette is a better singer than Celine.... When i think of Claudette , i always think of this movie with Emily Watson , Hillary and Jackie, i don't know why. It was a story about two sisters, one was a star and the other was helping her even though she had talent herself. In the end , the sister slept with Emily's husband, not a good ending. chocolatechip15 Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:49 AM Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:49 AM Robin Leach is quoting the National Enquirer now? Seriously? Just when I thought his column couldn't get any worse. . . I doubt than anyone in her family actually spoke to the National Enquirer - sometimes they just make stuff up. That horrid Ian Halperin book "quotes" Claudette talking about Celine's "anorexia." Whatever competition there may or may not have been between Celine and Claudette, there's no way any of her siblings was saying anything as ridiculous as the anorexia. Sometimes these trashy papers just make stuff up. Also, Celine's oldest sister is Denise; her oldest brother is Clement. I doubt Clement is really married to a Denise; I think someone just saw those names connected to Celine and grabbed them. So stupid.
NicoNV Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:53 AM Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:53 AM (edited) her sister in law would never do that , and neither her brother. Or would she? Aldo should get on this and sell some stories. Revenue stream, Aldo. Think about it. They never did say which family member sold all those stories in the past. When Celine told Rene to just put a stop to it, but not tell her who it was...let me guess, Incognito's money is on Claudette? (it's horrible your nightmare about her is now etched in my mind. So thanks for that). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited December 22, 2015 at 03:55 AM by NicoNV 3
chocolatechip15 Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:55 AM Posted December 22, 2015 at 03:55 AM Does she have a history of talking to tabloids? Odd. No history of talking to tabloids, but the media (mostly Quebec media, I think) have painted stories in the past about competition between Celine and Claudette, because Claudette was also an aspiring singer who had a bit of success, but obviously nothing near what Celine had. Celine and Claudette have both denied the competition. The night Celine declined the ADISQ award in 1991, there was also a comedy sketch that night that painted Celine as a compulsive winner and Claudette as frustrated/bitter. I think it's mentioned in the 1997 Germain biography. And then, of course, Claudette was the one that actually presented the award to Celine, not having any idea what her sister was going to do ( Claudette shouted "C'est Cellliiiine"!! and I think that was also a bit mocked. If you watch the video, you can see that the first thing Celine does, both before and after her speech declining the award, is hug her sister.)
