Wasn't there some interview where she talked about how someone from a credit card company called her 'cause they suspected fraud, and she was like "I don't remember the security question.... want me to sing you a song?" :-)

 

I might be totally making that up.

yes , they wanted the billing address of the credit card....she didn't knew, so she asked the cie if they wanted a song...a Julie Snyder interview ...

it is not the contestant from the Voice usa that will put Celine to shame with his interpretation of Holy night , some difficulty to stay on the right note...He is good ordinary but that, i don't know.

Celebrating eleven years of being a member here. Where did the time go?

 

Congratulations! :) Eleven years is a long time. I can't imagine my life without this forum. I hope it is around for Celine fans to enjoy for many years to come.

I know I'm being selfish and it's an invasion of her privacy or whatever, but I hope we see pics or video of Celine Christmas shopping with her kids again.

 

I was hoping that maybe we would get something today. Since it's the 15th and there is 10 days until Christmas. Both those numbers have a five in them or add up to five. We all know how Celine's lucky number is five, so a girl can hope to still maybe get pics. LOL.

 

OMG. I just thought of something so much better. It would be awesome if Celine released a special holiday photo of the family on her instagram! :clap: A recent picture though. Not like that Holiday video on instagram that was released recently that was like 3 years old.

Wow, 11 years. Alex, you were one of the first few people to make me feel welcome here. Your loyalty to celine inspired me when I first got here, not that I needed it lol I have plenty to go around but you made me feel like I belong here. I congratulate you and hope you will stay with us/her for a long time to come.

Hey everybody,

 

I was wondering if anybody could help me locate a specific article, please?

 

I'm not sure where I saw it - I know it was online, and I want to say it was on a credible site/magazine like Time but, again, I'm not sure. It had to with gang wars and Celine's songs - how gangs would play her songs loudly as a sign that sh*t was going to go down. I think it was in Jamaica, and it must've been published anywhere between 2000 and 2007.

 

I know I read this article but I can't remember where. And I've tried looking for it but to no avail. I hope I'm not going crazy and just imagined reading this article.

 

Please help!

21 years of marriage and 27 years together as a couple. That is major for any couple to achieve, but especially a Celebrity couple. That is almost unheard of.

I already mentioned above but today is the actual day, so Happy 21st wedding Anniversary Celine and Rene! :-D All the hope for many more wonderful years together. :wub:

 

I wonder if Celine and the family went to Big Sky Montana Ski Resort again this year? I hope whatever they are doing that they're having fun and enjoying each others company. 21 years is a very big accomplishment.

 

Here are some photos to remember there sealed love to each other back on Dec 17th 1994.

Yeah, I thought it a bit odd, too. She posted that beautiful Instagram, but I was surprised by the lack of any acknowledgement elsewhere (especially in light of today's post re. Eddy Marnay).

OK, why do people keep saying that? I asked this a while back in another thread because I truly want to understand this line of reasoning, but didn't really get a satisfying answer.

Why is it supposedly an unavoidable fact that she won't sound like she did in the late 90's?

I get that vocal cords age like anything else and I suppose that could have impact on timber, etc. - but does that really affect one's vocal ability? Is it just age? Or maybe hormones (you know, all those IVF injections...)

Any vocalists around here? Or anyone with physiology know-how?

Genuinely curious.

Apparently technophobe Celine (who allegedly updates her own Instagram) is better at social media than her "team". I mean, she regularly uses hashtags and they don't!
