Celine has a new vocal coach

Since July, the Montreal Monique Cardinal assists Celine Dion in her vocal preparation for his shows in Las Vegas.

Already, his contribution is felt when Céline goes on stage at Caesars Palace. Recently, the star sings jazz, was not first in the improvisations, it is very high notes. She plays she did not before, “says Monique Cardinal, in an exclusive interview with the Journal.

Nice and discreet, avoiding the spotlight, Ms. Cardinal is considered more as a “coach” of a teacher. “We work mostly vocals, to solidify his instrument. It must maintain flexibility and endurance.”

And ‘through Véronic DiCaire, who works for 15 years, Monique Cardinal came into contact with Celine Dion.

“He talked to me for two years. Céline asked many questions about his voice, he asked that his voice was not as tired and kept him.

Monique Cardinal saw its daily change this autunno.Trascorre one week a month in Las Vegas, where he works every day with the singer and attends virtually every concert. “When I go there, because it begins a series of shows,” he says.

A solid reputation

He works in collaboration with the ear, nose and throat specialists, including that of Celine Dion.

“It ‘was very important for me to develop this aspect. We do not do anything with a vote. Problems can happen to anyone, even to those who sing well.”

In Las Vegas, Celine Dion looks very strong on stage. The professor says that it is as external cards, despite the difficult times that can live.

Monique Cardinal arrived in the entourage of Celine Dion at a time when the personal life of singer and put to the test with her husband’s illness.

We've certainly been covered in the avalanche of Adele records, with 25 having just become the first album ever to sell at least 1 million copies in two different weeks, according to Nielsen Music. And, lead 25 smash "Hello" has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks so far.

But, beyond Adele, seven songs in the Hot 100's top 10 the past two weeks have indeed belonged to Canadians. Their rankings on the Dec. 12 chart:

This is to all my Celine Dion Friends , I"ve decided to send a Christmas Card to Celine and Rene and the family on behalf of all of us fans,, I'm going to be sending this Card out Next week, So that the Family gets it by Christmas .

Doug: I was in the Lady Foot Locker Store, because Celine Dion was there.

Carrie: Celine Dion buys shoes there?

Doug: No, she works there.

I love King of Queens. I could not see Doug being a Celine fan, but why not. they still show reruns here, will have to youtube that particular episode!

Clearly understand you :) When it comes to Celine's songs I'm a polygamist :giggle: 'Misled' is my favorite but i hope noone tells 'Dance With My Father' :) B)

So far, i am happy with scott's arrangements on celine's songs, aside from one minor thing. I am not sure if it was also his arrangements for tonight's Oh holy night, and ATW in sinatra's tribute, if they were, I find sometimes the instruments melodies were a little bit disttractive, pulling our attention away from Celine's voice, or even overdrowning her a tiny bit. I had the same feeling for the current The Show Must Go On arrangement. I remember reading in the past that Rene always made sure that any band or orchestra would have to accompany Celine's voice, not taking the spotlight away from her. Edited by rhapsodion

The arrangements on the Sinatra special were all of Frank's original arrangements.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this woman a vocal coach that has appeared on t.v.?

 

I swear I have seen her in some show, where people who have always wanted to sing live out there dream for 1 night? I don't remember what the show is called, but it gives a chance for people to live out there dream of singing. They get coached on how to build up there voice and sing properly. After they are coached on how to sing they perform for 1 night in front of a crowd of people.

 

I don't know if anyone remembers this show or even knows what I am talking about. I'm not even sure if Celine's new vocal coach is this same woman in that show, but from what I can remember it sure looks like her.

Aldo said in a recent interview that he would like to work on Celine's creative side. interior design, fashion and stuff like that. I don't know if anything will come of it. I guess time will tell, but for now there have been no official announcements made about a Celine fashion line.

Oh please no fashion line! Aldo it's great you want Cèline to explore with her creative side, make her co-write her own songs then.

no fashion line. They will tease her about the backwards tuxedo suit forevermore if she did that. It took over 10 tens for people to forget that. We don't need that to resurface again. Edited by Brandon

Wasn't there some interview where she talked about how someone from a credit card company called her 'cause they suspected fraud, and she was like "I don't remember the security question.... want me to sing you a song?" :-)

 

I might be totally making that up.
