scielle Posted January 26, 2016 at 01:00 PM Posted January 26, 2016 at 01:00 PM (edited) So Twitter tells me the folks over at Les Enfoires have been covering Parler a mon pere these last few days - Javascript is not enabled OR refresh the page to viewClick here to view the Tweet Javascript is not enabled OR refresh the page to viewClick here to view the Tweet A longer clip, but Periscope so I think it's perishable - https://www.periscop...w/1RDxlBpgbYEGL http://www.programme...ter#xtor=RSS-18 The folks over at Enfoires '16 have signed a condolences book for Celine along with this performance. " Edited January 26, 2016 at 01:02 PM by scielle 1

I wonder if he picked that up from Céline Who knows, who knows ... PS: I've attended Josh live in Vienna some years ago and it was such a beautiful concert with much humor. I'm pretty sure he use a corded mic way back then. If I find the picture I took ... I will take a look.

In the last little while I think a lot of publications & critics who use to scoff at her are now starting to give her proper credit. I think it's partly that a) there's a whole crop of new artists who are citing Celine as a serious influence and b ) critical opinion in general has been more open to popular tastes in the last few years (see a lot of Carl Wilson's writing on the subject). I hope you are right. The critics need to evaluate her new albums objectively although people will always have a negative view of her music. Céline's french album will probably be one her best, imo. Tyler1991 Posted January 30, 2016 at 04:10 PM Posted January 30, 2016 at 04:10 PM Watched a concert for the first time. Let's talk about love tour Chicago. I had seen all the performances before separately over the years but never just as a whole show. Wow, she was phenomenal that night. The clarity in her voice on the first time ever I saw your face. The proper ending even to a shortened version of IACBTMN just makes the song more special. I love that. Bylm was amazing too. Not just because it was the full version, but she was fantastic and very clear, angelic sounding. Ltal, immortality, abm, mhwgo, ans the reason we're highlights as well. From start to finish, it was just a very complete show. Her banter with the audience was very real and seemed to be mostly unscripted. I was in awe waching this whole show.

Caledor Posted January 30, 2016 at 04:45 PM Posted January 30, 2016 at 04:45 PM http://www.journalde...e-de-separation Wait, whaaat? Separated already? Didn't Julie and PKP just get married a few months ago?! Wasn't Maman Dion at the wedding, and Celine sent a video message? Well that one lasted... More importantly, does that now mean she no longer has a conflict of interest and can go back to Productions J and doing Celine specials?!! Inquiring minds want to know.Oh no... rhapsodion Posted January 31, 2016 at 01:02 AM Posted January 31, 2016 at 01:02 AM Now that Rene is gone, I really hope that Aldo is a great and genuine guy. As Celine has said in the past, she doesn't handle her contracts and numbers and money, but it was her husband who took charge of that, that we didn't need to worry about her being ripped off or something. It will not be the same case now. 4

Just let her be an artist, for god's sake! 4

sfbaysinger Posted January 31, 2016 at 03:09 AM Posted January 31, 2016 at 03:09 AM I know. He better take care of her. That's what Rene would want, and from here on out that's what they should be asking themselves: is this what he would want/something he could get behind? and wow, I haven't heard her live since Rene's passing...can't even listen to her English music yet. 1 L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!
Angel2006 Posted January 31, 2016 at 05:34 AM Posted January 31, 2016 at 05:34 AM I'm sure Aldo will take good care of Celine. Rene himself personally chose Aldo because he trusted him and his abilities. We know from witnessing Celine's career through the years and also from comments from RC and others at Rene's funeral that Rene had very high standards. I am confident that Rene wouldn't settle for anyone but the best for Celine. He wanted to make sure that Celine was all set and didn't have to worry about anything when the day came that Rene would leave this world. Aldo has worked for Rene and Celine for many years and Rene personally chose him to take over as manager because he knew Aldo's works abilities, so you better believe he won't let Celine down. 1
celine4evauk Posted January 31, 2016 at 09:56 AM Posted January 31, 2016 at 09:56 AM I'm sure Linda, and Patrick will help her with things. She's lucky she has close family members around her. Some aren't so fortunate with that. And Celine isn't silly, over the last few years she's learnt the word NO! I'm sure she'll use it when necessary. Rene must have really trusted Aldo, he wouldn't have handed her career over to just anyone. 4
celine4evauk Posted January 31, 2016 at 10:26 AM Posted January 31, 2016 at 10:26 AM RIP Sir Terry Wogan. Shall always remember the words you said about Celine "definitely the best singer in the competition" # Eurovison. 1

superstar85ca Posted February 5, 2016 at 02:33 AM Posted February 5, 2016 at 02:33 AM ok so random questions here: Is Celine ever alone in the house with her kids (and until recently Rene) or is there always some staff member, assistant, chef, maid, family member etc there with her? I am so fascinated, I was just watching her on Oprah (from years ago) and they showed her at home with her butler, chef and "manager of the house" I suppose she must be used to always having people like that around but I was wondering if there are ever times where Celine would get up and cook dinner for her kids, just her. Now I know with the show in Vegas that she is not going to have time to do all those things but I just wonder - does she always have a chef or would he or she come in at certain times? Please forgive me if this is a dumb question. I just wonder about Celine's day to day life sometimes.

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question. I just wonder about Celine's day to day life sometimes. Celine does cook on a very rare occasion. Usually they have a chef that cooks for the family, but sometimes when Celine is on a break she likes to try and be as normal as possible. Those moments are very rare, but they do happen occasionally. Celine has said before that she is brilliant at making something great of of leftovers and I remember her saying she was going to make her own Thanksgiving dinner once. I think it was on An Audience With Celine or the That's Just The Woman In Me special. Celine also sometimes cleans her own house. This is also something she does on a very rare occasion, she will clean for the whole day and go through things that she wants to give away to the less fortunate. This was when RC was younger, before the twins were born. I remember reading an article somewhere about Celine getting rid of all RC's old toys to give to the less fortunate. It also said that when Celine and RC go through the stuff they want to give away, they always make it a point to choose at least 1 item to give away that is important to them. Like there favorite shoes or there favorite golf club or something like that. They believe that if they give something away that they truly love, that it will bring love and joy to the next person who receives it. They are truly a one of a kind family with the biggest hearts. Celine and Rene's values are something to truly look to as inspiration. Those kids of there's are going to grow up with the most amazing life lesson. RC is already showing how mature and well grounded he is and I know Nelson and Eddy will do the same. Rene did very well at being a Dad and teaching everything her knew to his children. His life lessons will live on through them and through Celine. 1
