Anyone know if she was actually in Rome on holiday like the article claims? And if so does anyone know the date of these photo's? I've been trying to figure it out for ages and can't. I assume since RC is bigger that it was sometime in 02? Probably summer?

I wasn't a fan until ANDHC was out and I wasn't aware of the forum at the time so I have no idea where she promoted it at. I didn't keep up with her at that exact time because I didn't have internet.

Hi guys!

 

I came up with the idea of this topic after seing one in the french section "Comment aimez-vous Céline?".

I answered to it, and when I re-read what I wrote, I realised that I had portrayed Céline, the way that I see her.

I will translate what I wrote later, and post it on this topic.

 

But what about all of you. How do you see her? What touches you in her? What do you think of Mrs. Céline Dion Angélil?

How would i describe my Celine.

 

What do i see about Celine. A very passionate loving singer/mother.

She touches me inside because of what she does. She is my inspiration, and weill always be my inspiration,. She helps me get through a days when need something or someone to rely on. She helps me get through my problems. Celine will allways be in my life.

What do i think of her. Shes absolutely amazing,. There are no words to express how this woman is amazing and touching.

 

i just would like to say that celine is my hero and my true inspiration!

I just wanted to share a thought with you all...

 

Due to the "What's Goin' On" section on www.celinedion.com, I saw the today quote "On This Day". This is my personal quote of June 14, 2010: It's been a while already (eleven years!), but on June 14, 1999 Celine performed in the Amsterdam ArenA during her European leg of her "Let's Talk About Love World Tour".

 

Since then, every year till now, on the 14th of June, I always remember that day... Especially Celine and Rene who had so much concerns about Rene's health during that time and the cancellations of many concerts. But I also think about my grandfather, who I lost the day before... This all let me realize that Celine has offered so much for being with us during the years, that's also why the song "My Love" means so much to her...

 

I also realize that time flies, and that so much has been changed since then... Do you have a special "On This Day" thought, which you would like to share?

OMFD! you're right!! damn the time gooooes sooooooooo fast!!! yeah today 11 years ago I saw Céline live for the very first time!! I was soooo thrilled!! I must admit, I don't remember much from that concert, I just remember being sooo much in awe! I was one happy camper that day!! To me the LTAL tourbook is still the best one she had to date! :wub2:

On this day... i saw Celine for the very first time live in concert in Frankfurt 2008. Since then, i also remember it every year and watch some videos of the concert.

 

The concerts in Amsterdam were always amazing :flowers:

:lol: She has some funny ones in these new DVD/CDs. I always laugh at 'mamasita!'

The little woo-ooh-ooh's that she does around 2:20 and 2:35 are great :wub:

 

Lol!! What does she say when she's performing, and it sounds like "Cinco de mayo!!" she yells it out, when she grabs one of her dancer's suspenders. She says it in a high voice, so I can't tell what the heck she's saying! That's what makes her unique and amazing!!

 

I think what you are referring to is not when she grabs his suspenders, but when she is walking along side the stage and then they go up onto one of the wings. Am I right? If so, I am pretty sure she says "Show me the way". Because then the dancer points to the wing and they go up that way :msn-wink: I could imagine how all the numbers mesh together and how difficult it would be to remember exactly where to at each point. So, I think that is what's going on there...

I think we may be confused about what you are talking about then.....she does a lot of talking in that song. It may help if you provide us a video and a time.

they could be mishearing her when she says shake it baby or show me your muscles, and one part she scats and there's nothing really that is an actual word and maybe they think thats what she's saying. :shrug:

Hahaha, ok here it goes:

 

"Knfscruff" was asking what Celine says when she grabs Miguel's suspenders. This is at 3:04 in the video. "Knfscruff" said, to her, it sounded like she was saying "Cinco de Mayo!!"

 

And...

 

What I said in response to that was, that I think she was thinking of something Celine said in LCMM, but attaching it to a different camera shot. So, at 1:58 in the video, Celine say's something that sounds a lot like "Cinco de Mayo!!", but she isn't pulling on anyone's suspenders.

 

So, all I was saying is that, I was telling her the "Cinco de Mayo!!" line, was actually Celine saying "show me the way!", but she wasn't pulling on suspenders, but actually going onto one of the wings.

 

And then I said that it must be hard to remember where you have to go during each song and sing, and dance, and how it's cute that she get's help from her dancers (or backup singers) from time to time.

 

Is that better?? :wacko: I hope so!!
