During the fashionista video, there is a chorus saying something...I can understand waht...do u get it???

The background singings all sing "once more" and "oh ah oh" while Celine sings "my heart, my heart, my heart willl...." and then as it finishes she sings "my heart will go on and on..."

Has anyone ever wondered why TPOL isn't considered to be apart of the "Vegas Medley".... like IACBTMN/BYLM/TLYM, it has been shortened about 2 minutes from the original version....during Vegas at least, there was never a speech after TPOL and they went straight into IACBTMN, so it meshed quite well as if it were a 4 song medley....

Maybe they listed it as a stand-alone track so the set-list would be longer :-D . And the backdrops also mash together on It's All Coming Back To Me Now (storm at night), Because You Loved Me (calm after the storm), To Love You More (A New Day) :shrug:

It was "live" in a virtual duet with Barbra during the LTAL Tour, but was lipped to a separately recorded track....so the closest thing we have to a LIVE performance is the 5 seconds we have seen of the Grammy rehearsal...

Yes, you are right, it does sound live...but that is the purpose in re-recording it. They could never lip to a full studio recording...it would sound so obvious. The playbacks are still studio, but without all the crystal clear sound, thus making it sound live....not to mention a few other effects are added such as reverb (echo), and generally it will not be "perfect"... personally, the I Surrender playback is a perfect example...sounds live, but it definitely isn't!

She's definitely tricky with her playbacks (other than TPOL, IACBTMN and TLYM) because she does them before the tour. We never would have known that Taking Chances, Eyes on Me, the ABM note (well :shifty: ), etc. were re-recorded if YouTube didn't exist!

TC and ABM had a few promo performances released so we would know those two....but not Alone or EOM...to be honest, IACBTMN is tricky too because she used a different track for that in the FIY tour, and the song has had three different arrangements..........

I was driving around with some friends tonight, and about 30 mins ago, "That's the Way It Is" came on my radio! I was seriously in awe. At first, I was like NO. IT CANT BE. I have not heard a Celine song on public radio around here since "My Heart Will Go On" back 15ish years ago. I heard "Taking Chances" on SIRIUS back when it had first came out, but to me its more rare to hear a song on public radio cause some areas have poorer selection like such places I live in.

 

Oh my gosh. It just really put a great start to my week!

Lol, yeah.. I rarely ever hear Celine on the radio and when I do it's certainly not a top 40 station, but a soft rock station...

You know, Celine gets a lot of radio airplay here in Cyprus. "Just Walk Away", "My Heart Will Go On", "It's all Coming Back to me Now", "The Power of Love", "I'm Alive", "That's the Way it Is" and "Taking Chances" are favourites. So, it really makes my day when I hear her songs being played on the radio, almost on a daily basis :P
