Today i read the topic about Celine & Mariah being compared to each other. I wanted to responed, but the topic was closed. I was really confused to read fan2CelineDion's answer. If you think Mariah Carey is better then Celine and you don't like Celine's music, what the hell are you doing on this forum. If you don't like Celine's music i think you should leave or revaluate why you are hear. :hmm:

Fan2CelineDion is on here for a bit of a laugh i would reckon.....i.e. trying to pi** off a few people here and there, get people annoyed etc etc. So I would say ....ignore anything this Celine fan says :rolleyes:

I think this person does not know what forum he/she is on! I reckon it only matter of time before Fan2 celine gets a bit bored and leaves(or has no choice in the matter of leaving!!! :lol:

). Sorry fan2celinedion , but your comments have become quite boring now and i liked to comment back to you in the other topic but could not as it was closed , where you stated you didnt like Celines music etc. Then i cant be interested in what you have to say about her anymore, so ill just skip over any comments from you from now on . .....yawn.....

Angel2006 is right. If it was a joke I can't see the funny point with joking about that. It's not fun and if there's somewhere you expect that a comment like that never show up it would be celinedionforum. And if it wasen't a joke that's even worse!

There are alot of people here who like Mariah or another artist more than Celine. Nobody said that in order to be a member Celine had to be your #1. You know, it is possible to think Mariah is better than Celine, but like Celine more. Personally, from 1990-1996 and 2003-2005 maybe early 2006, Mariah was better vocally. Those were the years when Mariah was at her peak. Celine would hold longer notes and do that much more often, but Mariah would hit higher chest notes much more often. She'd always be hitting F5, G5, even A5 in chest, which Celine rarely does. I've always thought they were equal in head voice up until Mariah is able to whistle. When Mariah was able to hit those F's and G's, she was on top, but she hasn't been able to do that for more half of her career. But despite my opinion on this, I like Celine much more. I like more of her songs, I like how her voice has stayed intact throughout the years. I like her class, etc....

Totally agree with you. I really loved - and still do - early Mariah, up to the Daydream album. Have lots of those songs on my ipods. After that album her voice and style changed too much to appeal to me. Some people prefer her latter albums though. But you're right, i love Celine for who she is etc and how she's maintained that, and her voice etc. Its not always just about the songs or who can hit the highest note. Music becomes much more than just a song on the radio, it becomes a way of life. :-D And music has always been my life - ever since i had flashing lights on my record player speakers when i was 5!! :kicking:

I know you don't have to think Celine is num 1 and people can have there own opinions. I was just talking about fan2CelineDion and what he/she said about not liking Celine's music, it pissed me off. I know some people like Mariah & others Celine, but for someone to say they don't like a persons music when there a member of the singers forum, that's just wrong. I wasn't trying to tell people to like Celine more then Mariah. I was just telling fan2CelineDion of for what he/she said.

1998-oprah in texas she sang mhwgo

1999-before break ttwii

2002-andhc with rene and rc

2003-in vegas show preview

2004- talking about and sang miracle and the prayer

2004-oprahs birthday bash they showed clips her singing bylm and happy bday @ her party and on the show a message from celine wishing her a happy birthday

2007- taking chances and surprising fans in audience and brittany hellmeister (hey girl!!)

2008-charice (not sure about how many times or when there were only clips shown..)

2008-miracle children

2009-tribute to whitney message

Celine & Rene did an interview on a special episode of Michel Jasmine's show. Rene said in the interview that Celine had written new songs for Marc Dupre. Does anyone know where to find these songs?, Are they on his latest album? If anyone know's what songs Celine has written for Marc Dupre's new album, I would really like to know. I want to know what the songs sound like. Ever since that interview i have been wondering about it, so if anyone can help, that would be great.

I agree. I also think Celine is shy about her song writing, but in the Michel Jasmine interview Rene let it slip that Celine wrote some songs for Marc Dupre's new album. I don't know if anyone remembers this, but i remember someone on this site translated the interview and said that Rene talked about Celine writing new songs for Marc Dupre. If anyone has any info on this, i would love to know more.

I searched for the photo you were looking for and could only find a little photo on a collection of Celine stickers. They are currently on ebay if your interested and if not, at least you have the photo. Sorry it's so small.
