Gates close at like 8pm and celine wont be on till like 9 so good luck with that lol

 

Hi, my ticket confirmation email mentions "last entry to each event will be at 8.30pm". Anyhow, looking forward to Jul19 and an amazing evening :-)

There were many “MK Remixes” released during the single’s promotional era. Unless you’re refering to live performances? Then, yes, something new could be brought to the song on the stage. :)

Id be perfectly happy with her brining back scotts masterful interpretation of the 2017 uptempo medley. RTD/LIAWN/BOW/Mised/THLAL/LCMM/RDMH ??? It was great (i know were all sick to death of LCMM RDMH but it REALLY gets the crowd going and they love it).

 

I would love if they did all those songs fully but im at peace with a medley

I wish Queen would be announced that would be the icing on the cake but never gonna happen, they’re way too big to play second fiddle to anyone lol.

 

I do think some have misconstrued the meaning of ‘special guests’ though, it’s a music festival so they’ll be announcing various other acts probably over the next few months who are basically support acts if you like. I can see Claire Richards being one of, what they’re classing as, the other ‘bigger named’ acts for this day, announced so soon to help sell tickets. She’ll be playing the main stage with perhaps one more in her league to play that stage and then other lesser known acts who are up and coming announced to play the various other stages. Celine will come out and do her thing but don’t imagine she’ll have anyone on stage with her but I might be wrong. It would be great to have some surprises!!

the two last setlists are missing clearly LMBTL! It was number 14 on the british charts I believe, so very good for celine these years and it was her last english album to date. And it sold well. She also won´t and shouldn´t leave Ashes out of that all! It´s her most recent hit single which gained attention, in the UK too! Edited by ordinary fan

Yes!! I saw them last year at a Glasgow summer festival and they were amazing!!!

 

Last year being my first festival experience, I was extremely nervous as I’m really tiny and not overly good in confined spaces, and when the crowd all started pushing forward to find their preferred spot in time for the main headliners, trampling all over our picnic rug, I felt like I was gonna hate it but as soon as Queen +AL came on stage and started their set, I was in total awe and loved it. This is how I know I’ll be fine seeing Celine in such a setup.

And isn’t this not what she’s mostly known for and probably what most regular fans want! Jeez, can you not just be a bit more diplomatic with your responses!! You’ve done it with me a few times as well, which hasn’t gone unnoticed.

 

Honestly, there really are a few people on here bringing this forum down. I normally bite my tongue but it really is getting to be a chore coming on here these days!!

How great that they're responding to you! Hope Celine's team gets the hint that we'd LOVE some surprises! This is the perfect opportunity to include some more UPBEAT songs.

 

I keep thinking of her Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival performance and what a huge success it was! Do we have the setlist from that show?? I remember being intrigued at how even the ballads / mid-tempo songs worked so well in that setting.

Never hear of her - is she a big deal in the UK? (Certainly don't recall hearing of her during my 5 years living there...)

She was in a band called Steps in the late nineties. I think they made a come back recently, but they are not exactly big now. She also had a brief career after the band releasing songs with her band mate 'H'.

I keep thinking of her Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival performance and what a huge success it was! Do we have the setlist from that show?? I remember being intrigued at how even the ballads / mid-tempo songs worked so well in that setting.

Even if Hyde Park’s and my fun “Misled” banter doesn’t inspire Celine to include the song (assuming she and/or her team saw our tweets), I’m just glad more people will be introduced to it now through social media. Hyde Park has almost 45,000 followers on Twitter. If even 1% of those followers saw our back and forth fun, that’s a decent amount of people to now research and hear it for possibly the very first time. :)

I highly doubt anyone paying money to see a Celine Dion concert, festival or not, is expecting to hear a cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” ;)
