Celine Dion mania has taken over the music charts! While ticket sales for her concerts have been the subject of intense media coverage, the star is back with a vengeance in this week's Top Albums chart. All the figures!

Based on figures from the SNEP (National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing) and the Official Charts Company, the Top Albums chart published by Purecharts compiles physical sales, downloads, and equivalent sales related to streaming platform performance, including back catalog albums (those more than three years old).

The sale of tickets for her concerts at Paris La Défense Arena caused a sensation (and sparked suspicions of "deceptive business practices" due to exorbitant prices), leading the French public to flock to the diva's discography to rediscover her iconic hits. Her legendary album "D'eux" has climbed six places to 19th in the charts, adding nearly 3,000 copies sold (+15%), while the 2005 compilation "On ne change pas" has jumped to 52nd place with 1,700 sales (+13%). That's a leap of 18 places! The superstar also reached 195th place in the Top 10 (+19 places) with "Je suis : Céline Dion," the soundtrack to her documentary airing in 2024 on Prime Video, with 826 sales (+7%).

I believe this also means that half the songs on D’eux have charted on the French singles chart at one time or another (PQTME, JSP, JIOTI, J’attendais, Vole, and Prière Païenne) according to Wiki.
