Could it be possible to talk only about the new single and not the eybrow !!!!! And a way to put pressure on Team Celine to promote the track especially on radios. I don’t know but if we all write messages about the way Sony treats Celine on twitter... it could just make a litlle bit unconfortable... because it will be public. The best thing for this is to have a live tv performance (billboards, talk shows like ellen, oprah, jimmy fallon, james corden/carpool karaoke, etc).

Yes, it’s a big AC station in the NYC metro area. They haven’t played a new Céline song since LMBTL in 2013. It would be an even BIGGER deal if it made it to z100 which is a top 40 station. The last time they played a Céline song was in 2008 when taking chances came out, and it made the top 4 songs at noon for a bit. She was even interviewed on z100. It would be great if Elvis Duran and the morning showxwould play that song also

Just for comparison, I'm looking at Ashes' numbers compared to Mason Ramsey's "Famous". That song debuted on the charts last week, and I figure it probably wouldn't be huge radio-play wise. Though, I'm from NYC, so I don't know about elsewhere in the country, but this is just my assumption.

 

"Famous" dropped one week before Ashes, and debuted on the Hot 100 at #62. "Famous" is at 10M views on Youtube, while "Ashes" is at 15M.

"Famous" is at 11M Spotify streams, while "Ashes" is only at 1.7M. Though "Famous" is a week ahead. I guess we have some work to do on Spotify.

 

Since "Famous" has had two weeks and "Ashes" has only had one - if you divide the streams of "Famous" in half just for the sake of argument, that's 5.5M. Half of "Famous" Youtube views is 5M - combined 10.5M.

 

"Ashes" is at a combined 16.7M, though some of those obviously came in on Thursday before this tracking week began.

 

I don't think Apple music shows number of streams, but "Ashes" is ahead of "Famous" right now both on the iTunes US and the worldwide charts.

 

Since "Famous" debuted at #62 - I feel like based on this math (though obviously just an estimation and not a true indication) "Ashes" stands a good chance to chart this week, and not necessarily all the way at the bottom.

 

I'm not sure if all of this even makes sense... I just really want this song on the charts!

 

I'm leaving it repeating on Spotify through my headphones while I'm at work

To make this huge in the UK..

 

Fans need to bombard one radio breakfast show and one station in particular to make a huge impact.

 

Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 breakfast show is the largest and most popular morning show in the UK right now.

 

Sounds easy, but they have not played Celine since 1998 but Nick did say before that he loves Celine... so peer pressure needed I think if enough of us request it?!

 

Worth a shot right as the deadpool cast are here doing promo this week.
