It's not a recognised legitimate source, no - it's basically an analysis that seeks to recognise the most successful artists of all-time by downweighting streaming. But the man behind it has severely underestimated Celine's album sales.

True, chartmasters underestimates numerous artists' album sales like Céline, Mariah, Britney etc

He hasn't under-estimated Britney, and with Mariah, it's no more than ~5 million either side.

 

With Celine, it's by 20-odd million - it's a joke.

It already says on the page of her discography shes sold 250 Million WW, but we cant really change those lists as they’re security protected

I just wish with the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) would update her certifications. Mind you, it's the record company that hast o apply for the certification. Which is telling.... B) It's been ten year since she had a certified album!

 

Plus she has no digital certifications --and she should should have at least a few?

 

Wayne, do you have any information on digital sales for her singles for which she is currently under certified. I think i remember seeing years ago "Taking Chances" had sold digitally around 498K. Should be a gold for sure by now.

 

All the Way should be at least 8X Platinum and "MY Love" the essential should be certified Gold.

I'm happy about the ranking of TBSF since LMBTL only managed to peak at #34 :wtf: Soon the tour will have its effect and hopefully this is a good sign for the upcoming English album ^_^
