Well according to The Washington Post, Andy Cohen will be interviewing Celine before her show and her actual performance will be on Steve Harvey. The site states :

 

New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen (CNN)

When: 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Where: New York City

Hosts: Anderson Cooper hosts for his 11th year — and Bravo late-night host Andy Cohen replaces Kathy Griffin, who was dropped.

Performers: Keith Urban in Nashville

Extras: Correspondents report on celebrations around the country, from Denver to Key West, Fla., while the hosts interview Celine Dion. At 7 p.m., the network broadcasts a retrospective titled "All the Best, All the Worst 2017."

Interesting that Céline's official statement on FB says "live on stage tonight in Las Vegas when I join Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen on CNN"... maybe we're going to see some of the soundcheck?

 

I checked the timing based on previous shows, and would expect one of three outcomes:

 

#1: They go live to Céline at 11:00PM NY time (8:00PM Vegas time), which is approximately 15 minutes into Céline's show since she almost always starts at 7:45PM. In that case, we will get "Because You Loved Me."

 

#2: They go live to Céline at 11:30PM NY time (8:30PM Vegas time), which is approximately 45 minutes into Céline's show, and we will see "How Does A Moment Last Forever."

 

#3: She has something special planned for tonight, and we will see her at some point between 11PM and midnight.

 

I was also thinking that it would be amazing if they came back to her after midnight and showed the whole uptempo medley with the crowd partying in front of the stage...

 

I guess we will have to wait and see! :partyguy:

Well, it is quoted that Celine will be on Steve Harvey at 11:45 (NY Time) so by that stat she should be on Think Twice or All By Myself. Her Interview is supposed to be during the show as a 5 minute live Q&A soooooooooooooo i dont know

I’d love to see it but I just don’t think it is going to happen! I think it’d be amazing though!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

I don’t think it’ll be a new song. She’s usually pretty stiff when she premiers new songs and I think she will want to be loose. Just a thought. 😊

Seems like they filmed it on one of the nights that she had the back problems, I'm guessing abt the same time as the bsb performance Edited by aileejang05

It was likely Fox’s team that paid to film the performance and that was the date selected. It was probably their crew, not Céline’s.

So just watched the RDMH pre-recorded from November.... Truly embarrassing... Back problems and all, she was so stiff... This performance doesn't do Celine justice. C'mon Team Celine, she has a million performances of RDMH from the fall run where she was feeling well and rocking it out.. Why choose the one where she is not moving at all??
