Yup! Though, in all honesty, I’ll take a safe performance of “Because You Loved Me” over an embarassing performance of “Love Is All We Need.” She should never perform that song again until she gains full reading comprehension skills. Anyone who could comprehend that the first verse deals with domestic violence would not, and SHOULD NOT be grabbing their crotch and dry-humping the air while singing that song! Talk about one of the most disconnected performances of a song by her! Right next to the dreadful cover of “I Wish.”

Or maybe she will sing 'Christmas Song' like she did it in 2007 for the Larry King Christmas broadcast as well.

Yeah, couldn't help noticing that and initially thought surely somebody messed up with that tweet, but it's posted by a producer of Anderson 360 so presumably a reliable source when it comes to show content. Perhaps it's just a short 'best wishes' snippet from her. And actually, it looks to be a year-in-review kind of show, so maybe it's just stock footage.

So apparently she will be on CNN as well!

 

I have no idea if these programs start at the same time etc.

But I'm curious to see if they both show the same performance.

 

It's a pity she isn't at 1 of these shows live.

Well according to The Washington Post, Andy Cohen will be interviewing Celine before her show and her actual performance will be on Steve Harvey. The site states :

Always good to see a properly referenced post! I'm guessing the interview will be prerecorded or quite brief. Will be interesting to see though. I'm guessing she'll talk about next year and a new album coming up.

So happy she's making some appearances! Curious to know what song she'll sing. I assume it will be one from her Vegas setlist --- but a song like Another Year Has Gone By (or a song she's never performed before!) would, indeed, be a gem for us hardcore fans!!! Every now and then she'll surprise us! Like Wintersong last year. And when she sang Karen Carpenter's A SONG FOR YOU a few years ago. When she sang O Holy Night and Happy Xmas with Michael Buble. Etc. etc.

 

I am SO ready for all of the wonderful surprises 2018 has in store for us Celine fans! :)

 

If you Google Celine right now, there are a couple of nice articles talking about she DOMINATED 2017. It's a shame Vogue didn't put her on the September issue cover. But she had an incredible 2017 ---- a lot of folks rediscovered her and a lot of younger folks discovered her. :wub:

Well, all of my New Years plans for tonight and tomorrow just got canceled because it seems as though the mass majority of my relatives have all come down with a nasty flu bug. :cry:

 

My little family of four is all healthy so we'll just stay in and I guess I will ring in the new year watching Celine after all.
