Team Celine?

 

She's a grown woman who makes her own choices.

I don't understand the recurring insinuation by some that she's TC's/ Sony's/ Caesar's/ Rene's pawn. Or Law's dress-up doll.

She is very clearly a headstrong woman who knows what she wants and what she believes and isn't afraid to say so regardless of what people might think. She has proven it on countless occasions.

 

For me, we cannot impress everyone. Some people might dislike the outfits but some might love it. So, it Celine’s decision after all to choose what she wants to wear after some consideration from her side.

So if TC advice her to wear bikini for TPOL, do you think she will wear that?? At the end, Celine decides what she wants to wear maybe after some rejection from her towards what she suggested to wear.

I find fault with you calling a countries traditional dress ugly and saying its all TCs fault and saying she should wear a massive ball gown to do a sexy dance in which is completely impossible.

Its quite similar to a Japanese kimono or an Indonesian Kebaya or even a Singapore Baju Kurung

I'm Chinese-American, and I don't know if I'm being ignorant, but the dress doesn't look traditionally Asian to me, it doesn't look like a kimono. It looks like a flowing dress with a side cape over the back similar to the white outfit from "Une seule fois."

This dress just makes her look like a formless person. Like a strijkplank as we say in Holland ( ironboard) and we know she does have a good figure. Yes she respects the culture by not showing too much but i think there are way better choices. That kimono from Au Coeur Du Stade has a much better fit. In that Kimono she still has a figure. What i do see though that she can wave with the dress and move around in it very freely. But i also think the big white and blue parts do not look nice. Any of the Schiapelli dresses that were shown here respect the culture just as much but look way more flattering on her.

Agree! I didn't like this Schiaparelli dress and I usually adore everything Schiaparelli. She could wear something more beautiful and something that doesn't look like she's wearing huge nightgown and still look modest.

 

And yes she has respect for other cultures but can still wear what she wants in Jakarta. Katy Perry did that and was still a huge success.

But yeah Céline, the kind person she is, she will wear something modest but she doesn't have to wear a couture "nightgown"
