Hey guys. Looking for a hot guy who likes guys to take my spare ticket off me for the 23rd July Bangkok concert. I got it with a friend who is unable to attend now. Ticket is in zone T seat G02 and for 4835 bhatt (what I paid for). As I am flying in from Kenya I will be collecting the ticket at the venue on the day, so if anyone is keen on a date, dinner and enjoying the Céline show, private message me.

 

I will be ALL BY MYSELF too so company would be great.

Such slander!! I am seeing her three times. Twice in Taipei and once in Bangkok. My friend is unable to make it to SE ASIA now and currently have a spare in Bangkok.Taipei is the first gig I am seeing so that's why checking on the Taipei group if peeps who are going are free for a meet.

Things to know about Celine Dion’s concert in Indonesia

 

Singer Celine Dion is scheduled to perform at Sentul International Convention Center, West Java, on July 7. Here is what you should know about the concert, as reported by kompas.com:

 

The stage concept

One of the promoters, PK Entertainment, hinted that the stage would be extraordinary. “I can [only] give you the highlights, such as the stage's measurement of 300 meters,” said Peter Harjani, CEO of PK Entertainment, also noting that preparations for the concert were already 80 percent completed.

Around 200 lamps will be provided on stage to put the spotlight on Dion, with only 30 percent of them coming from Indonesia. “The rest are from abroad,” Peter said. “For sound, we need more than 100,000 or 150,000 watts. The concept can be seen from her previous performances, especially the ones in Las Vegas.”

Dion is also said to bring 21 orchestra players with her on stage and a total crew of 60 people, including the musical director.

 

Security

There will be 200 security guards protecting the concert venue.

“We’re still discussing finalizing the security and number of guards,” Peter said. “We will provide a minimum of around 200 guards.”

Said to have her own security, Dion will bring five bodyguards to Indonesia. “[…] We will station four to five [people] to accompany her guards,” said Peter.

Several days ago, twelve countries issued travel warnings for their citizens in Indonesia following the terrorist attacks in East Java. But it would not affect the singer’s concert here. “So far there has been no problem in communicating with Dion’s management team,” said Harry, PK Entertainment's project and marketing director. “Everything is still on schedule.”

Private chef

Dion’s private chef is planned to come with her too. The crooner of “Because You Loved Me” has requested to have a special area for her chef to cook in the hotel where she will stay. “The hotel has to prepare a special kitchen for the chef,” Peter said. “There are no special requests regarding her hotel room.”

For her backstage dressing room, Dion asked the decoration to be in white with no fragrant flowers. “If there are any flowers, they should be not fragrant,” Peter said.

The promoter said it had not found it difficult to fulfill the singer’s special requests, but that it was a challenge to preserve the quality of food she asked for. Some of the food is not available in Indonesia. “There are items we had to import to meet her riders,” Peter said. “But her requirements are not unusual for a world-class singer.”

As for the Billboard issue this week of 20 years ago, it's good to know that Sony Music Australia staff signed a petition to interrupt Celine+Rene honeymoon in April 1998 to do a promotional tour in Australia, and Celine agreed!

Plus, just discoverd that My Heart will go on, was number 1 in Spain (Page 52), wich fans chart run, missed out!

I'm going to Tokyo on June 26th to see her show but I saw it will begin at 6 PM. Do you know why it's so "early" ? Normally it's 8 PM for the show to begin. On some websites, it's written "Starts at 8 PM" but official site says 6 PM.

Yes, many thanks, I saw this information :-) but I was just wondering why it's so early (6PM) in Japan and in other countries it's 8PM. Because as people work till maybe 5 or 6PM, it will be difficult for them to be there when the show begins :-)
