I completely agree, covers are fine but I’d much rather hear her 2018 take on some of her fine repertoire. She has such a great back catalogue of songs she should be doing live. I’d be happy to hear all the big hits in a different arrangement to suit her voice, I just want to hear them live! She’s more than capable.

She is so obviously having the time of her life performing "You're The Voice" and it's great to see. When she mixes it up and performs new (or brings back old) songs it excites her. You can see it! I thought she sounded great.

 

Yes, thank you! That's exactly what i saw. She was literally having the time of her life during this song. She was like a little girl, jumping up and down and spinning and laughing and not paying that much attention to the vocals but to the spirit and energy of this song. I haven't seen her so happy since like last year in Lyon or wherever during a "A Vous" performance and even then she wasn't radiating as much as tonight during this song. Performing songs she doesn't usually sing/aren't hers and are up tempo or a bit rock really rejuvenates her.

 

I'm just gonna hold on that and the great feeling she transmitted to me and enjoy the last few concerts as they are. I mean you never know when she will decide to just stop performing and touring the world, but as long as she has that much fun on stage i'm pretty certain she will keep going and maybe then she will actually perform few songs that all of us want (and ofc we all want different songs in general, so good luck with satisfying everyone! )

 

 

 

Also, i hadn't realized that she actually stopped in the middle of the road to see her fans ahahaha :sofunny: She managed to drove some people really mad today

I LOVE her cover of You're The Voice. I'm a sucker for songs from the 80's...and the way she messed up the words and restarted the song is exactly why I love this woman so much! Her speech was adorable. So much fun!

I see from some IG pics the VIP includes all same goodies as was included in last years tour, which for the price of tickets, is the least I would expect. Does anyone know why it was so miserable in Asia? Is this something to do with the promoters?

I couldn't agree with you more. Good to have you back! I LOVED this. I recognized the song but did not know who the singer is or that it was a song from the 80's. No wonder I don't know it! I think the humility and respect she wanted to show to the original singer and that she actually stopped the band, she seemed sooooooooo embarrassed but she still laughed it off, that's why I love her like I do! She knew the audience would sing along with her but she still wanted to get it right. Just, dang she's just AMAZING!!!!!!!!

She’s amazing!!! I love this cover so much!! I want this tour on CD/DVD and last years the most ❤️ this tour was absolutely amazing to witness! So grateful I got to see it in Vegas before she did her Tokyo show!! What a treat that was for all the Vegas fans!! Hope your doing well too!!

In my opinion Celine has earned the right to do what she wants ,when she wants! For more than thirty years, she has worked and given so much. She is now a legend, a diva , an icon, you name it, she has done it! She now deserves to do whatever makes her happy and brings her joy. We .as fans, should embrace whatever she has to offer and just be happy that she is still around!
