Because we didn't know to look.And neither did the paps (not that there were many until she hit the French shows. The French tabloids are just somethin' else when it comes to Celine... (I mean, there were actually a few who "reported", like, weeks ago, that Celine asked Pepe to move in with her in Vegas. ) Remember, nobody knew who he was at first until Javito figured it out here, then the RH picked it up, and the media from there. Was that not from Bordeaux onwards? No, he was there from the beginning, since they needed to rehearse. Hence her 11pm outings to Ken Club in Paris, I imagine.
